Memories... Abstract flowers and leaves 6in Z fold card - 365 day challenge

 Hi Craft addicts!     

Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this Z fold card using Dylusions stamps and Creative Expressions Neon polish.

  • I first of all rounded the corners of a 6" square card (from Paper Boutique) with a Hunkydory Prism punch.
  • I then scored the front part of the card and folded it back on itself.
  • I took a Hunkydory white tag and one piece of white card and painted them with Creative Expressions Ocean Teal Metallic polish (I gave them both a couple of coats to make sure they were covered properly.
  • I trimmed the tag to fit the inside of the card and stuck both panels to some black cardstock and trimmed both of them to leave a border around them.
  • I used the abstract flowers and leaf stamps from the Dylusions set, and stamped them on to some white card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink and cut them out.
  • I used a tape pen to attach the larger of the flowers to the front of the card and then the other pieces to the inside of the card.
  • I stamped the sentiment (from Creative Expressions) out on to some white card (again using Gina K Obsidian Black ink).
  • I attached it to the centre of the card using a tape pen and then added some red liner tape at the top and bottom of the sentiment, removed the backing and placed black foil on top of them burnishing them down, making sure that there was no glue remaining.
  • Finally I added Black Nuvo drops to all four corners to both panels.

  Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is one that would be great for Valentine's Day and makes use of both dies and stamps! I had cut the backing layer for another project but didn't use it so decided to use it with this one. It is a Rose Gold colour Mirror card and the die is from Stamps By Me (I think). I attached it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card using fingerlift tape as I didn't want to have any glue showing. I stamped the cute kids image out on to some white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink - the stamp is from Bring on the Boys collection from Linnie Pink I coloured them in using Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir Triblenders as they make colouring in so easy with the 3 shades in one pen. I used blue and green Distress Oxide inks for the background and then edged it with a black alcohol marker. Hummingbird shadow effect on C6 white card -  Day 267 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 267) came about after I had cut out the "Songbird" die from the Couture collection and thought it would be really useful as a stencil using some inks. To make the topper:- I had cut out the "Songbird" die (from Couture by Create and Craft) out in white card and thought that it would make a really good stencil to use as a background. I took one of the Stamping card tags from Craftwork Cards (in the " Stamping Must haves ) collection and coloured over the die-cut in various places (also reversing it so the bird was looking the other way).I used a variety of green ink pads - Tm Holtz " Mowed Lawn " and Generation INX G01. Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card - Day 265 of my 365 day challenge

Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card -  Day 265 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! The rain has finally stopped and so I have made this simple but effective card using stamps and dies... How I made this card:- I used one of Tattered Lace Floral Wreath dies to cut out the main topper in white card. I then coloured it with various shades of green alcohol markers and when I was happy with it, I stuck it to some Gold Mirri Card (approximately 3" square) and then using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue (or Gina K's Connect glue) I attached it to the front of a 6" black pearlescent card which is part of the Core Collection from Create & Craft so it formed a diamond shape. Using Orange, Red and Yellow Bleeding Art Tissue, I coloured some card and when it was dry I used a Tattered Lace Nested Beads Essential Circle Dies to die cut a circle.
