  Hi Craft addicts! Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this simple but effective one using dies and stamps with some hybrid inks. I first of all rounded the corners of an A6 white card using my Hunkydory Prism punch. I had cut out some panels using a stitched edge die (not sure which company it is from but could be Lisa Horton or Creative Expressions) in white card. Whilst still in the die, I coloured the panel using pinks and blues hybrid inks - both Crafter's Companion Harmony/Tim Holtz Distress Oxide or Tonic Studios Nuvo range. I then used the new Make a Wish stamp set from Honey Doo Crafts and stamped the main image on it using Gina K Obsidian Black ink. I coloured the butterflies in using some watercolour ink from Ken Oliver (Marigold) and then edged the panel with a black alcohol marker.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a simple but striking one that turned out a lot better than I thought it would! I rounded the corners of a 7x5in white card (from Hunkydory) using one of their punches. For the background/topper, I took a piece of white card and blended a variety of Hybrid inks (I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide, Nuvo Safari Green and Aladine Izinks ink pads) until I was happy with it and trimmed it to fit the Butterfly and flowers Embossing folder from Sizzix and ran it through my Big Shot. I decided to use the Butterfly for another project and so attached the background to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card and trimmed it to fit. I then used the largest die from Crafter's Companion Gemini Inner Scalloped rectangle set and cut it out in the same black card and used a Dotty tape pen to stick it to the main topper.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade project for my 365 day challenge is one using a mix of dies and stamps to create a fun card. I first of all cut out the two rectangle tags (from Tonic Studios) out in bright blue self adhesive paper (from Dalton Manor) and put them to one side. I decided to use the caterpillar and butterfly stamps from Crafter's Companion Gemini Reveal Collection and stamped them on to some white card with Gina K Obsidian Black ink and coloured them in using Spectrum Noir Tri-blender markers. I then cut around them trying to keep to the black lines as much as possible. I took a blending brush with some blue ink left on it and coloured the edge of both the tag (from Hunkydory's Essential Tag pad) and A6 white card. I removed the backing sheet of both label tags and attached them to the tag so that they overlapped each other. I then used a solid tape pen to attach the butterfly and caterpillar to the tags. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is one I have made using dies, stamps and a background I created using alcohol inks. I first of all cut a panel of Yupo paper slightly larger than I knew I would need and created a background using pastel alcohol inks (pinks, greens, yellows and blues) and put it to one side. I then cut a mat layer slightly smaller than the 5" x 7" white card and then another one again slightly smaller using Lynda Chapman's Black Card and another one yet smaller in a bright green card (from Crafter's Companion) and stuck them on top of each other using PVA glue. I then added some self adhesive paper on to some more of Lynda Chapman's Black card and cut out the butterfly topper (I think it is from a Stamps By Me collection), removed the backing sheet and attached it to the background burnishing it down so that it was completely stuck down. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a general card that could be sent to someone you haven't seen for ages...... I first of all used several of Ink Lily Glimmer Pens to create a rainbow style background and let it dry once I was happy with the effect. I then took the Create a Card Elegant butterfly die and placed it on the cardstock and once it was in the right place, taped it down with some low tack tape and cut it out. I have noticed I didn't take all the waste out but as the wings aren't stuck down I have since removed them! I then used some of Crafter's Companion Dotty tape pen to stick it to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card, ensuring that the wings were kept away from the glue! I trimmed it down to fit the front of an A6 card and used PVA glue to attach the whole panel to the card, trying to leave a narrow border around it. I stamped the You Brighten my day sentiment out on to some white card using Gina K Obsidian Bla...

Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade A6 white card is one using just stamps and coloured pencils... I first of all stamped the Butterfly Bloom stamp (from the Designer Boutique range from Creative Expressions) on to some white card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink. I coloured the image in using Stabilo coloured pencils as they do blend quite well don't streak so much. Once I was happy with how it looked, I cut around it and edged it with a Black alcohol marker using the chisel end. Before attaching it to the front of an A6 white card, I used the Prism corner punch and rounded the corners. I used PVA glue to stick it but a tape pen would do just as well. I stamped the Colourful Birthday sentiment (from Woodware Stamps) on to some white card this time using some pink, yellow and purple inks from the Harmony range from Crafter's Companion. I attached it to some Green linen textured effect paper (again from Crafter's Companion) and added it to the front of the card with ...

Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is something different for me and I am really pleased with how it turned out! I first of all used the Dotty Designs Slimline Clouds die set and cut out two of the largest one in watercolour card. I then scored one of them just under the first scallop along the long edge and added some red liner tape to it and made my card. I then cut out a third one this time with the aperture die added to it (making sure I taped it in place so it didn't move when I cut it out. I then used some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks along with some other inks to colour it in giving it an ombre effect from blue to green. I also stamped and then cut out two of the Butterflies (from Crafter's Companion Gemini Swirling Butterfly set) and coloured them in using the Spectrum Noir Triblender markers.   I matched the card and the top panel together and glued them together, making sure they were in the right place and attached the butterflies with foam pads. Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is slightly different as I made the card myself using some dies along with the outline butterfly die which I love! I first of all used a large rectangular die that had a fancy edge (any would do) but I think this is either Lisa Horton or Time for Tea) and placed it on an A2 Kraft card (from Tonic Studios), attached it with some low tack tape and cut it out (I had left it hanging over the fold so that it didn't cut that bit out). I then cut a separate piece out using the same die and then scored it on either side several times using my Hunkydory Scoreboard and stuck it to the front of the card so it matched. I cut out the Outline Butterfly die in Lynda Chapman's Black card (with some Wild Spider self adhesive sheet on the reverse). I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide, Gemini Harmony and Prism inks to colour in some card and stuck the butterfly on top of it having peeled off the backing sheet. Hi Craft addicts! Today's latest handmade card for my 365 Day Challenge is one in the very popular slimline DL format. I first of all took a normal sized DL card and used Lisa Horton's slimline die to cut the base card out. I then cut out two mat layers, one in purple (from Crafter's Companion) and the smaller one in white (any cardstock will do). I cut out the 3 different layers of the Tattered Lace Butterfly dies, again in white for the mat layer, purple for the base layer and a lighter purple for the main die cut. I glued them all together, leaving the wings free on the main one - I used Pinflair Bookbinding Glue to do this. and attached it to the centre of the white panel. I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment on to either side of the butterfly and then coloured it in using Purple Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks. I used fingerlift tape to attach them all to the front of the card. Finally, I used some white Nuvo drops around the card to add some interest. So if you think ...
