Parsley, Sage , Rosemary and Thyme - herb garden wall plaque - Day 81 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! This is only a work in progress as i wanted to test out some peel off stencils and thought that I would make a wall plaque to try them out. So, first of all I used a rectangular MDF wall plaque (this one has precut holes at the top as I wanted to be able to hang it up). I covered it in a few coats of the NUVO Mushroom Acrylic paint - I felt I needed a few of them as the MDF seemed to be "treated" and had a smooth surface to it already. I must admit I used my heat gun in between coats to speed things up as I wanted to do both sides. Once it was dry, I then varnished it with the new Zig Varnish marker (which is like a pen and you just spread it like a glue pen) - again giving it a couple of coats.
