Just for you - trio of hearts DL card - Valentine's Day  Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is for Valentine's Day but could be used for anyone wanting to say they are thinking of someone! How I made this card:- I have had these "hearts" from Craftwork Cards some time and suddenly had this idea as to how I could use them.... I first of all took a piece of rectangular white card and cut out a panel (3 squares) using the trio die from Tattered Lace. I then used a panel die from Sue Wilson to finish it off. I added each of the 3 "Hearts" on to the "waste" parts using a tape runner and edged them all in a variety of colours (trying to match them to the hearts). I also cut out a larger rectangular panel (again using one of the Sue Wilson dies) in "Red and white" dotty paper and glued the base panel on to it. I then added the "Hearts" back on to the card using foam pads to raise them off the card. I then use...

Today's challenge uses a small baby "elephant" that I cut out using my Brother ScannCut along with a "Lattice" background and a hand stamped sentiment... To make the toppers:- I used my Brother ScanNCut's web app CANVAS and took the elephant from the Stamp collection and resized it and printed it out in black card. i also cut out one of the "Wavy" line border strips from the standard templates after I had resized it. I then cut out the "lattice/Moroccan style" panel die (I think it is is Sue Wilson's from Creative Expressions in black card. I also cut out the "fern" style leaves dies in a pale green cardstock. I also used one of the "waste" elements from a previous project that I had cut out in the "metallic green" mirri card. To make the card up:- I glued t...

Blank Monochrome C5 (150x203mm) gatefold card (Kraft, Cream and white) -  Day 181 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a monochrome C5 (150x203mm) gatefold card usiing Spellbinders/Creative Expressions dies. The card itself is hammered card which was already cut and can be obtained from Craft Creations here  which are really useful when you don't have time to make them yourself (or can't be bothered to do all the measuring!). I first of all used a sheet of the " beige " textured paper from the " Wonderful Washing Lines " 8" paper pad from Craftwork Cards and cut it to fit the centre of the card and stuck it in using Collall All purpose glue. For the front of the card, I used the Sue Wilson "French" Collection border die from Creative Expressions and cut 2 strips out using a pale Kraft card (which can be bought from Craft Creations).and glued them to the edges of both " gates " as I do thin...

Square Tissue box decorated with butterflies  Hi Craft Addicts! Something different this time - I have had this tissue box holder for some time but haven't got round to decorating it but when my daughter mentioned that she needed one that gave me the impetus to actually do it! So this is the finished product - The lid is 12.5cm (5") and the box itself is 5" high and 4.75" wide ) and being paper mache it needed 2 coats of white P ebeo Studio Acrylics Gesso allowing it to dry completely before doing the next one..  Whilst the base dried I cut out the red frame from the Tattered Lace Starlights square die which also cut out the small butterflies that I used on the lid in good quality red card and glued them to the top using Tonic Studios funky glue pen. I then cut out 5 square panels ( 4 in the matching red cardstock and one in white ) using one of the Tonic Studios Scalloped Layering Die set. I then cut out 8 butterflies ( 4 in t...
