  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is another one in my Autumn themed range.... Very easy to do and great to look at! I first of all cut out a circle using one of the smaller Spellbinders Petit Picot edge die using some stamping card I then used the Autumnal Tree layering stamps to create the tree directly on to the circle (using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks - Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, Crackling Campfire and Gathered Twigs) - I used a mix of Gina K Obsidian Black ink along with a bit of Walnut Stain for the 1st layer which is the tree and then followed the numbers on each stamp. I added a sky background using what was left on my "blue" blending brush. Before sticking the topper down, I rounded the corners of a 4" white card using my Hunkydory Prism punch and then coloured the edges using the "brown" blending brush.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a card that could be a gift tag or card - the choice is yours! I first of all rounded the corners of a 4in white card using my Prism (Hunkydory) punch. I then took a piece of watercolour cardstock and coloured a background on it using a mix of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide and Izinks inks and spritzed it once happy with the effect and left it to dry. Once it was dry, I cut it out using the middle sized Circle die in the Petit Picot edge set from Spellbinders. I then stamped the sun on to it from Gemini's Into the Woods pop up die and stamp set and then cut out the main die using Lynda Chapman's Black card. I used a dotty tape pen to attach it to the front of the circle mat layer and stuck it to the front of the 4in card (tent fold) with either PVA glue or a tape pen.    Hi Craft addicts!       Well today's latest blog is about these three different cards I made using Lisa Horton Flowers.... I had created some backgrounds using a variety of products from Himi Silk Crayons to Tim Holtz Distress Crayons and thought they would make good flowers. I cut out the various flower shapes from the Shabby Florals die set from Lisa Horton and then cut out the stalks in green card. I really like this backing paper which Becky Seddon produced for her collection and thought it would make the flowers really stand out and so trimmed a couple of pieces to fit the cards used and stuck them to the card with a tape pen - I wouldn't use PVA glue as it would show through the paper. Two of the cards are small (4") cards and I used two different punches (from Kit n Caboodle and Prism from Hunkydory) to round the corners along and then scored the edges with my Prism Scoreboard with an A6 card too. Hope your Birthday is amazing...foliage black and green square card Hi Craft addicts! I am having great fun making these backgrounds using Tim Holtz Distress Crayons and the Broken Tiles die set from Lisa Horton/Creative Expressions. How I made this card:- I cut out the main topper (Lisa Horton's Broken Tiles Dragonfly die set) using Black Pearlescent card from Create & Craft. There are three dies for this particular part of  the card and I used the main square and foliage to cut it out. I used my Gemini machine for this I did wonder what sort of background would work and decided that one that I had created using various green Tim Holtz Distress Crayons on Yupo paper (translucent) would work really well as it gives a slightly misty look. I cut a square out and stuck it to the back of the main topper using a PVA glue making sure that there was no glue on the Yupo paper. Two for Tuesday small Christmas cards -  Day 338 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today I have made TwoFerTuesday 😀😃 using Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps and DoCrafts dies. These are for day 338 of my 365 day challenge... How I made these cards:- Card One... (Christmas Bells)  This card is very simple to make - I first of all cut out the Bells die (from DoCrafts Xcut)  in black card and stuck it on to some dark teal card. Once it was dry, I trimmed around it - just under the black card so that no teal was showing outside. I then used a PVA glue and stuck it to the front of a white 4" card. There is no sentiment on this but I will add one later on.. Card Two.... (Snowman skating) I then painted some white stamping card with various blue shades of Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints and left it to dry. Assorted set of 6 mini cards with different sentiments -  Day 305 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I must say I was really pleased with how these mini cards turned out and so thought I would say how I made them for day 305 of my 365 day challenge. How I made these cards:- I painted various backgrounds using a mix of Kuretake Gansai Tambi water colour paint, some Dreamees Chalk inks and Creativ Bleeding Art Tissue. I tried different ideas - some stripey, some chevron and some just playing about! Once they had dried, I used a Tattered Lace circle die and cut 6 out trying to get the best design in each of them. I then used a selection of sentiments - Thank You, Happy Birthday etc and stamped them out on to some black card using Versamagic ink (separately of course). I used True White embossing powder over each of them and heat set them. I then trimmed them to fit each of the circles and stuck them on using a tape pen. I then glued each of the die cuts on t...

Red foiled butterfly - Best wishes 4" card  Day 71 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is one that I have made using two new (ish) processes for me - one is stencilling and the other foiling! I wondered how stencilling (using Distress Inks) would work on Centura Peal cardstock, so I started stencilling (using the Mini Stained Glass stencil mask from The Crafter's Workshop) a 4" Fresh Cream card (from Craft Creations )  with orange, peach and yellow mini-pads from Tim Holtz Distress ink range. As you can see, I placed the stencil so that the central part of it matched the middle of the card itself and stuck it to a glass mat using low tack stencil tape. I then stencilled through it using the brushes that Clarity Stamps brought out allowing all the colours to merge into one another. Five, Four, Three, Two, One - we have lift off! 3 small cards with a space theme. Hi Craft Addicts! I had just been playing with the Starlights metallic paints from Imagination Crafts (you can find the full range here )  and felt that the colours I had used - White Gold, Antique Gold and a touch of Green looked like a sand scene and then had the idea that it also looked like a planet's surface - (you can find many Tutorials as to how to used these paints on You Tube). I remembered that I had some of the toppers (and backing papers) from the Midnight Collections series from Hunkydory which I thought would look good and here are 3 card I made using them.
