Cosy Christmas snowy village in jar 7x5in Kraft Card Hi Craft addicts! Well I am back using Blogger for a while to see if there is any difference in the take up - here is a quick and easy Christmas card I made using Hunkydory and Sweet Dixie products. How I made this card:- I first of all took a piece of white card and used the largest die within the Holly die set from Sweet Dixie to cut it out. I then took a red alcohol marker to colour in the berries (you can see where they should be in the die cut. I decided to leave the rest of it white and so stuck it to the front of a 7" x 5" Kraft card using some PVA glue - you could of course use a wet glue, tape pen or fingerlift tape. I then used the rectangle Snowy Cottage scene topper from one of Hunkydory's previous Christmas collections and added it to the centre of the card, this time with foam pads. Sending Love and Happiness... dragonfly 7x5in Kraft card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a bright and cheerful card which I have made using the dragonfly die from Paper Boutique, some "shape" dies from Tattered Lace, alcohol inks and some stamps.... How I made this card:- I must admit that I had used the dragonfly embellishment before on another of the cards I have written about, but if you haven't read it, I created a background using Cosmic Shimmer Opal Polishes (Parakeet Green, Lavender Blue and Flamingo Pink) and once dry, used one of the dragonflies in The Paper Boutique Dragonflies and a Bee set to cut it out. I also cut the body part in black self adhesive paper and attached it to the main bit. I had also created the background on which it is placed by using browns, greens, yellows and reds Tim Holtz Distress Crayons and when I was happy, cut a circle out of it and then stamped over it using the Woodgrain background stamp from Hunkydory's For...

You Bring Sunshine... Bamboo and moon glitter 7x5in Kraft Card Hi Craft addicts! I hope you had a brilliant Easter and enjoying the sunshine! Today's card for the 100 day project is one I really liked making using Glitz Craft paste, an embossing folder and a sentiment stamp. How I made this card:- I wanted to used one of the latest embossing folders from Creative Expressions (Narrow Woodgrain) and found I had a piece of cream Adorable Scorable card and used that to emboss it. I then used a brown Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink and spread it on to the card to highlight the grain and left it to dry. Whilst that was happening I used low tack stencil tape to attach the Bamboo stencil to some white stamping card and used Green and Sand Glitz Craft paste through it. Once I was happy with it, I also left that to dry. I trimmed it so that it measured 9x15cm and edged it with a brown alcohol marker. The Hurrier I go.... White Rabbit (from Alice in Wonderland) 7x5in Kraft Card Hi Craft addicts! Well, this card was brilliant fun to make - the stamp was from Visible Images' Alice in Wonderland collection and here is how I made it (for Day 4 of the 100 day project). How I made this card:- I first of all stamped out all of the words and the White Rabbit on to some white stamping card (using Gina K Amalgam ink) I then coloured the Rabbit in using Spectrum Noir Tri-blends (my new favourite alcohol markers as they are so easy to use). You can of course use any colours you want as he is a magical creature! I then cut them all out leaving a narrow white border around them all. I stuck the words on to some yellow paper (the reverse of the striped paper used for the background) and cut round them in a zig-zag design. Before that, I had also cut a piece of yellow and white diagonal striped paper with a zig zag edge (from Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps paper range) ...

Peace, Joy Love Heart Kraft card -  Day 324 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well today is a really miserable one outside, so thought I would make this quick and simple card for day 324 of my 365 day challenge. How I made this card:- I have had these heart die-cuts (from an old set from Tonic Studios) for ages and thought it about time to use them! The largest of the two was cut out of cream/ivory linen effect card and the smaller one in a Kraft card - I like this particular card as it has a textured effect. Before attaching the two hearts on to the front of a 6" square Kraft card, I stamped the reindeer (from the Furry & Bright For The Love of Stamps set by Hunkydory) several times using Versafine Toffee ink. I then stamped the Hedgehog from the same set on to the smaller Heart (again using the Toffee ink). Using PVA glue, I attached both hearts on to the front of the card and let it dry. Thanks - Thistle in silhouette on hand coloured background Kraft card - Day 237 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for day 237 of my 365 day challenge is a Thank You card using a Thistle in silhouette as the main focal point. How I made this card:- I first of all cut out a square (with a scalloped edge) out of white stamping card using a Tattered Lace die - it measures approximately 90mm) and coloured the edges using blue distress inks - I left the centre white and used some grey at the bottom to make it a bit darker. I then cut out the Thistle die cut out in black card (Lynda Chapman's) and stuck it to the panel at an angle using Midas Touch Sticky Dots. I then placed the panel on to a slightly larger gold Mirri one (from Hunkydory) and then added that to another white piece of card  - this time with a narrower border. Happy Christmas - Robins singing... Kraft card -  Day 321 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! As it is now just over a month till Christmas, I thought that my challenges for the next few weeks should reflect this!. So today's card is a cheerful Christmas card using Peel Off stickers and stamps. How I made this card:- This is a 135x135mm Kraft card and I first of all added a "Cream" insert which I cut down to fit inside. I used fingerlift tape to attach it to the back of the front (if that makes sense). I then cut out an oval in "Black" cardstock and another slightly bigger in cream - any die will do to make these but they should be the "nested" so you know that they are the same shape! I really like these "Robin" peel off stickers  which you can get from Craft Creations  and so took 2 of them (looking in opposite directions) and added them to some white card. I also added a few "Gold" stars to brighten the pan...

Have Fun - floral theme 7" Kraft card -  Day 295 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! For today's challenge, I have made this floral themed card using an image from a Tattered Lace USB and some lovely floral background papers from Tonic Studios. How I made this card:- I first of all took a 7" Kraft card and cut the front along the diagonal leaving a small edge at the bottom right hand corner. Using the left over card, I used that as a template to cut out the front panel from one sheet of the floral papers from the "Mid-summer Mornings" 8" paper pad from Tonic Studios. I glued it to the remaining panel and attached it to front of the card leaving a small border of the Kraft card. I then took another of the flower paper sheets and glued it to the inside of the card, trimming it to fit. For the "flower" topper, I took the "Charming over the edge" SVG file from Tattered Lace into Brother ScanNCut's CANVAS and...
