Hi Craft addicts! Today's handmade card is a Just for you tree of life card that is very simple to make... I first of all rounded the corners of a square white card (6") using my Hunkydory Prism punch.  I had coloured a background using green hybrid inks (a mix of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide/Tonic Studios Nuvo/Crafters Companion Harmony ones). Using a Spellbinders Petit Picot edge die, I cut a panel out which is about 5" square and after cutting out the Tree of Life die from Thirsty Brush using Lynda Chapman's Black card attached it to the background layer with a dotty pen (as it only puts glue on to the places you want it to). I used some PVA glue to stick to the top part of the card which I used as a tent fold one and added some Spectrum Noir Glossy Highlights in various places. Hi Craft addicts! Today's latest handmade card is one using an old die cut, a new stencil and some sentiment stickers. I first of all rounded the corners of a 7" x 5" white card and then scored the right hand side with my Hunkydory Adorable Scoreboard 4 times. I then took one of the Slimline Floral Trio Art stencils and coloured through it using a mix of Gemini Harmony inks. Once I was happy with the effect, I trimmed it to fit the front of the 7" x 5" card (approximately 5.5" x 2.5") and rounded the corners. I then mat and layered it on to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card, trimmed that so that there was a narrow border around it and rounded the corners of that too. I used PVA glue to stick it to the left hand side of the card trying to make sure that the space was equal between the fold of the card and the first scored line. Laugh... girl and flower Z fold card Hi Craft addicts! I had great fun making this card - I must admit I created lots of different shaped cards using the Tartan background paper and this is one of them.... How I made this card You need 2 5" white cards for this process, and you need to fold the front part of the card back on itself and cut it (to the depth you want the fold to be (this one is about 1.5") and reversed it. I then folded the front of the 1st card back on itself so that the fold was in the middle. I measured each panel (there are 5 in total - the two front pieces and 3 in the Z fold) and cut the tartan paper to fit them - it is an A4 pad so you can get all panels out of one sheet.  I then glued them all on to the relevant panels making sure there was a narrow border around all of them. Best Wishes Butterfly DL card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is one i have made using a Butterfly die along with some gems from Hobby House. How I made this card:- I cut some of the Green Tartan paper (from Craftstyle's A4 paper pad) and trimmed it to fit a DL card (leaving a narrow border around it). I used a wet glue (Pinflair's Glue-it Bookbinding glue) to attach it to the front of the card. I had some strips of Silver Holographic card (from Hunkydory) left over and stuck one long strip to the left hand side and a shorter one towards the bottom of card. Cutting two Butterflies (one in the Silver Holographic and another in a pale pattern ( I think it is a Tattered Lace die), I glued them together and stuck it (at a slight angle) towards the top of the card using the Bookbinding glue again.
