Hi Craft addicts! Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a very quick and simple card to make using no dies whatsoever. I first of all rounded the corners of an A6 white card (any will do) - I either use the new one from Stamps by Me which has 3 different size of punch in one or the Hunkydory Prism one which just has one). I took one of the toppers from the Paper Boutique Gnome Christmas set and stuck it to some Green linen effect card and rounded the corners of them too. I fussy cut a strip of the holly paper that comes within the set (approximately 1.5") and placed it the centre of another sheet of the same green card and then trimmed it to fit the front, rounded the corners of it and attached it using a tape pen (either Create & Craft or Crafter's Companion). I added the topper to some cream card and trimmed around it so it had a really narrow border and placed it in the middle of the card using some foam pads to give it some height. So if you thin...

  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's card for my 365 day challenge is this fun A6+ card that I have made using mainly Paper Boutique Gnome collection. I used an A6 card (so many Companies produce them) and rounded the corners with a Hunkydory Prism punch. The circles are created using a stencil (I think it might have been a Thirsty Brush one but am not sure) and coloured through it using Blue and Yellow inks left on my blending brushes. I then took one of the Gnome toppers from Paper Boutique (one of Creative Crafting World's range and fussy cut around it. I edged it with a black alcohol marker and then stuck it to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card and fussy cut around that leaving a narrow border. I decided to use some pale blue/lilac paper stock to add another layer so I cut a piece out leaving a border (approximately .5") and stuck the topper to it and then rounded the corners with the same punch I used for the card.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this simple but effective card you can send to a friend to say hello.... I rounded the corners of an A6 cream coloured card (from Tonic Studios) and decided to use it as a tent fold landscape one. I had some of the background cardstock that I had created using Aladine Izink ink cubes on some white card and used the cubes directly on to the card in a random way. I cut it to fit the front of the A6 card and rounded the corners. I thought it needed another layer so trimmed it a bit more, rounded the corners again and stuck it to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card and attached it to the front of the card with PVA glue. I attached some of Lynda's black card to some self adhesive sheet and cut out the Friend die (I think it is from Stamps by Me), removed the backing paper and placed it in the middle of the card.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this simple but effective A6 card using two dies..... I first of all used some Gold Mirror card and cut out the Mouse and poppy die from Creative Expressions Paper Panda range. I then cut out the rectangle frame from Lynda Chapman's Black card (from Creative Crafting World) using the Mini Lace die set from Tattered Lace. I used a tape pen to attach the die cut to the panel (trying to avoid getting marks on the Mirror card) - but I think next time I will use self-adhesive paper. I then rounded the corners of an A6 cream card using a Prism corner punch (from Hunkydory) and stuck the panel in to the centre of it again using a dotty pen (I used a Crafter's Companion one). The With Love sentiment is a stamped one from Lisa Horton's Banner Sentiments stamp and die set - which is one stamp and die that you stamp first and then place the die over it and cut all the various sentiments out.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this fun card inspired by a video I saw from Gina K Designs on You Tube... I took a piece of white card and added the squares to it directly using a variety of ink pads from Aladine's Izinks - not being too worried that some of them were quite juicy and added a bit more colour in the corner. I left it to dry and then placed it on to a stamping platform and taped it down. I placed the three different stamps (Congratulations stamp set from Stamps by Me) on to the design, picked them up and inked them with Gina K Obsidian Black ink and pressed down. I did this a couple of times as I wanted the silhouettes to really stand out. I cut the panel to about 3x5in and rounded the corners with a Hunkdory punch and then stuck it to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card, trimmed it and then rounded those corners too.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is one made using a mix of products and could be for any occasion... I had previously created the background using Creative Expressions Pixie Powders sprinkled on previously dampened Lynda Chapman's Black card and then added a bit more powders and water to it until I was happy with it. I let it dry and then cut a panel out using the Inverted scallop A6 die from Crafter's Companion and put it to one side. I had also coloured a piece of white card, this time with Hybrid inks and cut it out using the same die this time keeping the inside panel for another project. I attached both sections to the front of an A6 white card, the corners of which I had rounded using a punch. I now see that it isn't quite straight but you would make sure it was! Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a bright and cheerful one using toppers and dies with a Gnome theme. I decided to use an A6 white card and so rounded the corners using my Hunkydory Prism punch. I used the Creative Expressions Shabby Basics Cheesecloth die and cut it out using Sheena Douglass's Kraft card. Using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks (Walnut Stain and Gathered Twigs) I dragged them across the die cut to give it a bit of depth and heat set it so it didn't come off on my hand! I used a dotty tape pen to attach it to the front of the card - this pen is great as the glue only lands on the card and doesn't "string". I wanted to use the Gnome collection from Paper Boutique/Creative Crafting World and decided that the floral and gnomes on flowerpots toppers would be idea. I trimmed two of the floral toppers to measure 2.5" x 1.5" and stuck them to the middle of the card again with a tape pen, this time a soli...

Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is one using only stamps from Sheena Douglass and inks from Izink. I decided I wanted to stamp directly on to the front of a card, so used an acrylic stamping block to stamp the Dachshund (from Sheena Douglass's Guess Who set from her Halfway There collection). I used Gina K's Obsidian Black ink for this as I can use both Watercolour or Alcohol inks. I then coloured it in using Stabilo FSC pencils (Brown, Yellow and Orange shades) and then coloured his ruff in with reds and pinks. I again used Gina K's ink to stamp the sentiment from the same collection directly underneath the image. As I felt the card looked a bit "grey", I decided to add some rainbow colours to it and so used Izinks (from Aladine) Dye inks - red, yellow and blue.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is A6 and has been made using dies, stamps and colouring materials. I cut out the largest panel (Lisa Horton's Harlequin Bubbles Mini Slimline Die) in Lynda Chapman's Black card first of all. I then cut out a smaller rectangle in white and whilst still in the die, coloured it with a variety of Harmony inks from Crafter's Companion - red, yellow and orange and blended them in until I was happy with the result and took it out of the die to dry. I cleaned the die so that there was no ink left on it. I then cut out the sentiment panel dies which are from the Tags collection from Carnation Crafts - the layering panel in white and coloured it in to match the main background, then the ornate part in Lynda Chapman's Black card and the sentiment panel in white. I then used a dotty pen (from Crafter's Companion) to attach the ornate panel to the back layer and then a normal tape pen to attach the white panel. The sentiment, ...
