Just for you.. Have a wonderful day Giraffe in frame card - 365 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a fun, quick and easy one using a Giraffe Creative Expressions stamp. The Giraffe stamp is a red rubber one with a co-ordinating die from a Wildlife range from Creative Expressions and so I stamped it out on to some white stamping card with Gina K Obsidian Black ink. I then used some Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers to colour the image in using some neutral colours for the Giraffe itself. Once I was happy (well I wasn't really as I thought the frame needed to be redone..) I decided not to use the die but fussy cut it out myself. I stuck the topper to the front of a 7" x 5" black pearlescent card (now discontinued from Create & Craft), the corners of which I had rounded with the Prism punch from Hunkydory. I then cut around the two sentiment from Paper Boutique from Creative Crafting World and attached it to the bottom of the card with some foam pads. So if you think this sounds interesting th...

Sending you sunshine... elephants on a DL Kraft card -  Day 45 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I really love these stamps (Safari Adventure) from the For the Love of Stamps range from Hunkydory and I wanted to try and create a sunrise background so it was a match made in heaven.... How i made this card:- I first of all cut a panel of white stamping card (I used Lynda Chapman's World of Paper) so that it was just slightly smaller than the DL Kraft card. I then used various Altenew inks (various shades of Pink, Orange and Yellow) to create the sunrise background - I used a photo from the internet to give me inspiration for the colouring.  I left the middle part of the panel clear so it gave the impression of the sun beginning to rise and blended the colours around it to give a hazy effect. i used a stencil (As the Land Lies Decorative Stencil from Sheena Douglass) and inked through one of them along the lower half of the panel using a grey Altenew ink...

WooHoo! Safari animals and Jungle green themed large card -  Day 38 of my 365 day challenge HI Craft addicts! I am really pleased with this card as it turned out almost how I saw it in my head! I used Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps and co-ordinating masks along with some distress inks. How I made this card:- Main topper -  I first of all cut this panel out using a Spellbinders ornate rectangle die in white card. I kept it in the die and coloured it in using various shades of Altenew Green inks, trying to make it look like a sunrise/sunset but this time using green - I also used their Pure Graphite ink pad to give the sky a darker feel. Keeping it in the die, also meant the border that wasn't in the die was highlighted. I allowed it to dry and then used the Go Wild stamps, stamping the larger tree and grass on the topper using Onyx Black Versafine ink (first generation). along with the giraffe. I also stamped the elephants second generation (stampin...
