  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card is one made right from scratch using dies to make the card and all the mats n layers! I first of all used the Filigree Poppy doily die set from Tattered Lace and cut out two of the largest dies to create the card itself. I scored along the top of one of the card using my Adorable Scoreboard from Hunkydory and then added some red liner tape to it, removed the backing and attached the two pieces together making sure that they matched perfectly. I used one of the larger Spellbinders Petit Picot edge circle dies to cut out the main mat using green Metallinks card from Paper Dienamics. I then cut out a slightly smaller layer using a scalloped edged circle die in Lynda Chapman's Black card and then some decreasing circles in white and green card ( both dies and card are from Crafter's Companion).    Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is the semi monochromatic card using dies and stamps.... I first of all took a 7x5in white landscape card from Paper Boutique (Creative Crafting World) and used a Kit n Caboodle punch to create a different corner. I then cut out the two frames (from Stamps by Me) twice, the top one in Lynda Chapman's Black card and the bottom one in Bright blue self adhesive sheet (from Dalton Manor) and placed them on top of each other so that the blue foliage parts show through. I then attached it to the front of the card using a solid tape pen but you could use it a wet glue so that you can place it where you want. I had previously cut out the flower spray (Refined Bouquet from Tattered Lace) in Lynda Chapman's Black card and added it to the bottom of the frame again using a tape pen - this time a dotty one so the glue only goes where it needs to. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is one I have made using dies, stamps and a background I created using alcohol inks. I first of all cut a panel of Yupo paper slightly larger than I knew I would need and created a background using pastel alcohol inks (pinks, greens, yellows and blues) and put it to one side. I then cut a mat layer slightly smaller than the 5" x 7" white card and then another one again slightly smaller using Lynda Chapman's Black Card and another one yet smaller in a bright green card (from Crafter's Companion) and stuck them on top of each other using PVA glue. I then added some self adhesive paper on to some more of Lynda Chapman's Black card and cut out the butterfly topper (I think it is from a Stamps By Me collection), removed the backing sheet and attached it to the background burnishing it down so that it was completely stuck down.    Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a simple but stylish card with a lot of white space. I used Lynda Chapman's black card (from Creative Crafting World) and added some of Wild Spider self adhesive paper to the back of it as all of the items here are fairly intricate and it would be easier if the glue was already attached! I then cut out the outline flowers (from Stamps by Me) and the Believe sentiment from Sheena Douglass. I had already cut out a circle in an ochre colour and thought that the flowers would look good on it so removed the backing sheet and placed them on to the circle and trimmed them to fit. I also edged it with a Black alcohol marker. I then did the same with the sentiment and added it to some white card and fussy cut around it. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card was a very simple one to make but good to look at! I first of all took one of the unscored 30cm square cards and used my Hunkydory Scoreboard and creased it at 7.5cm and then 22.5cm and folded them to form a gatefold card. I then rounded the corners using the Prism Hunkydory punch.  The Drum kit background is from the Monochromatic collection by Paper Dienamics and I cut two panels approximately 2.5" each and rounded the corners with a corner punch.  I used a bright pink Spectrum Noir Triblender to colour some of the drum sets in on each of the panels and then stuck it to a slightly larger panel of Gold Mirror card using a tape pen. There is a co-ordinating set of panels from the Paper Dienamics collection and I coloured the drum set again in the matching bright pink marker and added some pale blue Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks to soften the tone.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is one made using some dies, stamps and watercolour paints. I used the Floral Spray die from Stamps by Me and cut it out in Lynda Chapman's Black card which I had backed with Wild Spider Self Adhesive paper (but Creative Expressions do some too). I removed the backing sheet and placed it on to some white card burnishing it so that it was well stuck down. I then used some watercolour paints (Himi from Stamps by Me) to colour the flowers in and let it dry. I also coloured the sky in using blue watercolour paints. I trimmed it and stuck it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card (the corners of which I had rounded using a Hunkydory punch from their Prism range. I then used the Just Saying Hello sentiment stamp and added it to the bottom of the card (I used Gina K Obsidian Black ink). Hi Craft addicts!    Once again, the idea I had in my head didn't turn out too badly in reality and so thought I would write about how I made it... though it is white card in reality! I used Hunkydory's Prism corner punch to round the corners of both a DL card and having cut out the panel previously in dark blue card, I rounded the corners of that too. The white panel is cut out using a Lisa Horton slimline die but any other rectangular die will do. I then used the Tulip outline die from Stamps by Me Fragile Florals set and cut out the outline in black card having first attached some Wild Spider self adhesive sheet to the reverse. I had made a background using Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Crayons on Yupo heavyweight paper and cut the mat layer out of it and stuck the outline to it having taken the backing sheet off it first! Hello Craft addicts! I thought this sentiment is just what we need at the moment and what better way to smile than by crafting! Here is a quick and easy small card to make using just black and white card.... Using the smaller film strip from Toni Darroch's Stamps by Me "Smile for the Cameras" die set, I cut it out from Lynda Chapman's Black Card (from Creative Crafting World) which I had previously added some self adhesive paper to the back - I used Wild Spider but I know other Companies produce it too. I placed it on the left hand side of a small 4" card and trimmed it to fit. I then cut out the Smile panel out in the same black card (again using the Wild Spider self adhesive roll on the back) and cut it as I just wanted to use the sentiment. I stuck that to the bottom right hand corner and again trimmed it to fit. I stamped the flower out on to black cad with some Versamark sticky ink (having previously dusted it with an anti-static bag) and then heat embossed ...

With Love Abstract flower in pink, black and white on hand coloured flowery background square card Hi Craft Addicts! Today's card is a result of using a background I have created myself using Tim Holtz Distress Crayons along with dies from Toni Darroch's Stamps by Me. How I made this card:- I had been playing with some Tim Holtz Distress Crayons to make the flowery background (it measures approx 5" square as the card itself is a 6" one - to do it, I used Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry, experimenting with the "strokes"  I used - it took a bit of time to get the effect right - I used normal stamping paper this time rather than Yupo as it gives a totally different effect. I also used a paintbrush and some water to blend them in even more. Once I was happy with what I had done, I then added some green alcohol marker to create the stalks and some faded blue and yellow spots dotted around the pattern.
