Owl steampunk style 7x5in with love card -  Day 9 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 9) is this steampunk style owl themed 7" x 5" card which I have made using up some Graphic 45 papers. How I made this card:- Graphic 45 produced this beautiful owl image some time ago and I had one bit of the paper left so I cut this bit out using a Tattered Lace die. I also cut out the brown cardstock using another Tattered Lace die but felt that it needed some definition so I placed it on some white card and cut a layer allowing for a very narrow border. I edged both with some brown alchohol marker too. | embossed the 7" x 5" inch card at the top and bottom (every half an inch) leaving a space in the middle. The larger panel is pre embossed from Craftwork Cards (A Man's World series) and so I used various brown distress/pigment inks (from Tim Holtz/DoCrafts) to make it look a bark-like and cut it to fit using another ...

Floral (Graphic45) design on blank 6" card -  Day 215 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Graphic 45 and Craftwork Cards come together to make today's 6" white card f or my 366 day challenge - day 215 which I can't believe! So first of all, I used a pre-embossed diamond checked 6" square card from Craftwork Cards and coloured the panel that was embossed with red and orange Generation INX pads - (I like these as they give quite a muted look). I then cut a piece of paper and placed it over part of the pattern at an angle and coloured it with some green ink (repeating it at the top and side too). I then cut a strip of the "tartan" paper/card that comes in the "Raining Cats and Dogs" 12" paper pad from Graphic 45 (but it does appear in some others too). and stuck it to the edge of the embossed panel.   Shorthand notebook, bookmark and pencil gift set - Graphic 45 designs -  Day 185 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So for today's challenge, I have made this shorthand notebook, bookmark and pencil gift set using the images and papers from Graphic 45 .  I used a normal shorthand notebook and covered it on both sides with this fantastic "Tartan" paper from Graphic 45 - it appears in several collections and is just so cheerful. I then added some "Red Liner tape" to the top edge and added some "Gilding flakes " to it - there are many colours available that you could use from Cosmic Shimmer, Tonic Studios   and Crafty Notions (to name just three).                I made sure that they were well rubbed in and then used the "scourer" to ensure no tape was left exposed. All you need is love and a cat - 7" x 5" white card using Graphic 45 -  Day 159 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So really stuffy and humid - quite a bit of thunder but nothing else (well I suppose it is difficult seeing lightning when it is still light!). Anyway, I have used the brilliant and striking image from the "Raining Cats n Dogs" series from Graphic 45 along with a honeycomb lattice  die to create the background. I first of all used the "Honeycomb lattice" die from Tattered Lace which is A5 and cut it out on green cardstock ( Craft Creations do a wonderful range of different colours and types). I then cut a random shape from it leaving a narrow border on the left hand side (I also have kept the hexagons to use in another project) and glued it to the front of the card. Rare Oddities Graphic 45 mini MDF pallet art -  Day 97 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have tried to something different today and so have used papers from the fabulous Graphic 45 "Rare Oddities" collection and a mini MDF pallet set from Stamps Away. I first of all glued the 4 panels (each measure 5x20cm approximately) together using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue at different heights and left them to dry I used black Pebeo Acrylic Gesso paint to cover them and gave them a couple of coats allowing them to dry in between. (I left it overnight just to make sure!). I really love Graphic 45 and thought that one of the "Rare Oddities" images in the 12" x 12" paper pad would work really well as I can cut it to fit each of the panels. So I cut each out making sure that they fitted each panel and glued them to each using Cosmic Shimmer. Mon Amour Graphic 45 5" window card -  Day 91 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I found a Graphic 45 Mon Amour paper pad yesterday and was going through it and felt that some of the fabulous images would be great as part of a window card so... I cut out one of the pages of the smaller images and decided which ones I wanted to use - I decided on two pictures and two sentiments (" Kisses are a better fate than wisdom" and "There is no remedy for love but to love more" and cut them out to fit the window "frames" of the 5" card that comes from Hunkydory. I placed a piece of separate paper behind the frames (after taking the panels out) and marked where the toppers should be placed but to make completely sure they were I added them to the paper through the frames - Thinking about it now, I probably could have stuck them onto the panels themselves but hey ho... Cat's Meow (Raining Cats and Dogs) A5 notebook - Day 15 of the 366 card challenge Hi Craft Addicts! Well it is now day 15 of my challenge and thought I would once again show you what I have made with the fantastic Graphic 45 Raining Cats and Dogs cardstock. This notebook is using both the background paper and Cat images from it as I think it brings that special touch to a plain A5 notebook. To start with, I found it easier to glue the background paper to both covers and then cut them to fit once dry - You could also measure the cover and cut them out on your electronic cutting machine.   I then cut out a matching strip ( 15x5cm approx ) of the paper and using some thin red liner ultra strong tape on 3 sides (excluding the top edge) attached it to the front cover to make a flap - I then used some peel off stickers to edge it but you could of course matt a slghtly smaller piece on to some black cardstock to achieve the same effect.
