Create, Imagine, Believe 4" home decor canvas .... Hi Craft addicts! Today's make is something different as I am trying to make use of all my crafty stash..... I had great fun making this wall hanging and will hopefully be doing more. How I made this project:- I used a 4" pre-prepared canvas (from Quantum Arts) and first of all placed the Lattice pattern Lamination Plus stencil (from Stamps by Me) and dabbed through it using Blue Parakeet, Lavender Blue and Pink Thistle Opal Polishes from Cosmic Shimmer. I moved the stencil around several times to get different effects and let it dry. I then used the Americana Inspiration stencil to add the different words - Create, Believe and Imagine - I used a sponge to dab through them with the Gina K Amalgam Black ink. Dinosaur themed MDF wall hanging -  Day 181 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have had real fun making this project - using Hobbycraft stamps and a large MDF wall hanging. How I made this project:- I first of all covered both the front and back of the wall hanging (approximately 32cm) in white card by tracing around it (marking each outline front and back). I then coloured a landscape scene using Tattered Angels Color Wash paints (blues  and greens) - I added some white to represent clouds and let it dry. Whilst that was happening, I stamped out a lot of the dinosaur stamps (from Hobby Art Stamps) and coloured them in using green alcohol markers etc. I used a tree silhouette (from Stamps by Me) and stamped it towards the centre of the wall hanging using Versafine Onyx Black ink and then stamped a couple of the volcanoes again using the Versafine ink. Bee Happy Round Wall hanging -  Day 173 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's project is a wall hanging using Hunkydory's Bee Happy For The Love of Stamps and a chipboard/MDF circle. How I made this project:- I first of all painted both back front of this chipboard (but it could be MDF) using Black Gesso a couple of times leaving it to dry between coats. I then stamped the beehive, honeycomb, bees and the sentiment Bee Happy using Versamagic ink pad and then heat embossed them with White embossing powder. When they were cool,I coloured the beehive in using Chameleon pencils and highlighted the BEE part of the sentiment again with yellow and orange pencils. I also coloured the bees bodies with the same colour. You can use ribbon or cord so that it can be hung up. Japanese lady hand coloured in window A4 window frame -  Day 128 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! This started out as a card but I thought it would be better shown as a wall hanging - I have used Tattered Lace dies, various inks and some alcohol markers in an A4 picture frame. How I made this project:- I took a window aperture card (from Hunkydory) and took the panels out. I also cut a second card up as I knew the back would be the exact fit. Rare Earth have produced a lovely set of stamps with a Japanese theme, and I stamped the sun (or moon) out on to the smaller panel using Dried Marigold and Mustard Seed Tim Holtz distress inks in the right hand corner. I used the bridge stamp and stamped it twice towards the bottom of the cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black ink (making sure it was in the right position by placing it behind the window aperture. Trio of hearts LOVE wall hanging -  day 12 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 12) is this wall hanging that I have made using "cartonnage" hearts, Screen Sensations stamps and inks. How I made this project:- I have had these hearts for some time and thought I better use them - they are chipboard/cartonnage and so I painted them all with several coats of White Gesso I let them all dry and then worked out the best way to display them and so used the flowers and leaves stamps from Screen Sensations and placed them at each end of the smaller ones and at the top and bottom of the larger one.  I used several shades of blue - the Altenew ones are really beautiful and so I added a couple of them to the stamp at one time to give them an ombre effect. Wine and cocktails 2018 mini calendar wall hanging -  Day 10 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So today's challenge is a wall hanging that is also a mini-calendar which I have decorated using For the Love of Stamps collection from Hunkydory. How I made this wall hanging:- I took some of this check patterned paper (from First Edition I think) which looked like the padded design you can get and covered both sides of the MDF plaque and trimmed it to fit it - you can sand the edges so that it becomes "locked" in.. I used a pokey tool to "open the holes" again and threaded some burgundy ribbon through them so you can hang it up. I then took the Cocktails and Wine stamps and stamped the wine bottles a couple of times on to stamping card and coloured them in using purple and grey Zig Clean Color pens - I also stamped the corkscrew and coloured that too using the grey pen.  I added some Wink of Stella clear "varnish" and covered t...

Steampunk Owl mini pallet art wall hanging Hi Craft Addicts! This was really enjoyable to make as it is slightly different from the cards I usually do!  How I made this wall hanging:- The background on which the owl has been placed has been made using a "feather" die-cut as a stencil which I coloured through using "Pinks, Blues and Yellows" distress/dye based inks - Tim Holtz and Generation INX mainly... Whilst that was drying, I then cut out all of the elements - they are all dies from Tattered Lace (Owl, cogs and hats) using Silver Mirri card. I then coloured them in using "Pink, Green, and Blue" shades of alcohol markers - Spectrum Noir, Tonic Nuvo or Promarkers are great for this. I allowed these to dry overnight before handling them again as they are very slippy straight away. Purple textured feel small heart wallhanging or fridge magnet -  day 260 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge is a small wall hanging that can be used as a fridge magnet too! To make this you need to do the following:- First of all take a MDF heart (this one measures 95mm approx) and cover it in "Purple" textured paint - I like this one as it gives a "rough feel" to the heart. I repeated that on the reverse side and let them both dry. I then cut out the "Melded heart" die from Tattered Lace in white cardstock I glued it to the heart just letting the bottom bits hang over the edge I wanted a bit of colour so added a few "Ripened Pumpkin" Gloss Nuvo drops to the centres of the flowers. Finally I added some black cord to it but you could also added a bit of magnetic strip to the reverse to make it into a fridge magnet instead!
