  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this simple but effective card you can send to a friend to say hello.... I rounded the corners of an A6 cream coloured card (from Tonic Studios) and decided to use it as a tent fold landscape one. I had some of the background cardstock that I had created using Aladine Izink ink cubes on some white card and used the cubes directly on to the card in a random way. I cut it to fit the front of the A6 card and rounded the corners. I thought it needed another layer so trimmed it a bit more, rounded the corners again and stuck it to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card and attached it to the front of the card with PVA glue. I attached some of Lynda's black card to some self adhesive sheet and cut out the Friend die (I think it is from Stamps by Me), removed the backing paper and placed it in the middle of the card.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this fun card inspired by a video I saw from Gina K Designs on You Tube... I took a piece of white card and added the squares to it directly using a variety of ink pads from Aladine's Izinks - not being too worried that some of them were quite juicy and added a bit more colour in the corner. I left it to dry and then placed it on to a stamping platform and taped it down. I placed the three different stamps (Congratulations stamp set from Stamps by Me) on to the design, picked them up and inked them with Gina K Obsidian Black ink and pressed down. I did this a couple of times as I wanted the silhouettes to really stand out. I cut the panel to about 3x5in and rounded the corners with a Hunkdory punch and then stuck it to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card, trimmed it and then rounded those corners too. I placed the abstract flower (from Dylusions toadstool stamp collection) on to the design, picked it up and inked it with Gina K Obsidian Black ink and pressed down. Love abstract bubbles 7" x 5" card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a really simple one making use of self adhesive paper/card to create the main background - if you want to know more then carry on reading! How I made this card:- I cut out the Bubbles die (from a new collection by HoneyDoo) in red self adhesive paper or card (this is some left over from DoCrafts). I removed all the bits from it, as it is self adhesive some stay within the pattern and don't just fall out. I then attached the whole panel directly on to the front of a 7" x 5" white card, burnishing it down with some spare paper to make sure that all the air has been removed. I had also cut it out in black card, and randomly stuck some of the bubbles etc back into the design (I used Pinflair's Glue it Bookbinding glue). Background papers and how to transform them into printable formats..... Hi Craft addicts! Well, it is Technique Tuesday and so I thought, for a change from cards etc, I would try and show how I created a design on Yupo paper using Tim Holtz Distress Crayons and Creative Expressions Pixie Powders and then transformed them into my own printable papers... How I made them- For the Blue flower design, I first of all added some dark blue (Blueprint Sketch Tim Holtz Distress Crayons) to a 7" x 5" panel of Transparent Yupo paper and blended them one at a time to a flower shape. I then added some paler blue crayons (such as Tumbled Glass) to the spaces and again blended them in - I use my fingers first of all and then a paintbrush with a hint of water to do this... I also added a small amount of green (Mowed Lawn) to various parts of the design. Once I was happy with the design, I then let it dry and took a picture of it using my phone and sent it to my Dropbox account....

Hello! Free spirit lady and dog on abstract background square card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a mix of die-cutting, stamping and background creating using paints and Pixie Powders - I really like this card and was very pleased with how it turned out (even if I say so myself). How I made this card:- I cut out the Free Spirit (girl) die in white card and then used the dog from the Fun, Free and  Frolics die set to cut it out in white card again. Both these dies are from Tattered Lace. I then die cut the main abstract frame (I think it is a Stamps by Me die but can't quite remember) in black card.  I trimmed it down to fit the front of a 6" white card. I then created the background using pinks, oranges, yellows and red water colour paints and added some Pixie Powders to it to add some sparkle! I used PVA  glue to attach the frame to it and trimmed the background from the reverse so that it fitted. I stuck the whole thing on to the front of the card, ...
