Congratulations - daffodils tag z fold card Hi Craft addicts! I am so glad to be back on here - it has been a few weeks since I wrote about my cardmaking as I haven't been able to do much - life and flu definitely got in the way!! Anyway, I hope you like this card and enjoy reading how I made it.... How I made this card:- I had some very old candy striped cards from Craftwork Cards and decided to cut them up to make panels for various projects. This one is the pastel one and I cut the front panel into two (measuring approximately 2" x 4" and edged them both with a black alcohol marker. I then took a 5" white card and folded the front in half back on itself so it created a Z fold effect. Using Pinflair Bookbinding glue, I attached both panels to the front and inside of the card. Congratulations - Wedding couple in silhouette on floral background - Day 316 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card for day 316 of my 365 day challenge is one that I made some time ago using a topper from Kanban and some Zig Clean Color pens.... How I made this card:- I decided that I liked the silhouette toppers from a Kanban kit more than the others, and decided to colour the flowers in purple (using Zig Clean Color Watercolour pens) along with green for the leaves. I then coloured the couple's hair using yellow and brown pens and pink and blue for the bouquet and ribbons. Using a bright pink alcohol marker, I edged the topper in it and then stuck it using PVA glue to the front of a 7" x 5" white card. Finally, I added the Congratulations sentiment tag to the bottom of the card with foam pads. And there you are  a card that would be totally appropriate to send to a couple who are getting married! Welcome to the world New Baby square card -  Day 219 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a New Baby card which is made using a Tattered Lace die, some Zig Clear Color pens and a Kanban sentiment. How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the Rock a Bye baby die (from Tattered Lace) out of white card and then coloured it in using both water colour paints (what was left on my palette watered down) and also Zig Clean Color Pens which I brushed on to my glass mat and used a water brush to add detail to the die cut. Once I was happy with the colouring, I let it dry and then stuck it to a circle of black card(Tattered Lace Torn Edges) using Midas Touch Sticky dots. I then attached it a panel of light green and white checked card (either Kanban or Hunkydory) which I then edged in green and black alcohol marker so it makes it look like it is another layer. You are my sunshine... hummingbird and flowers A6 white card - Day 211 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is day 211 of my 365 day challenge and I have made it using Mel Heaton's Signature collection dies and stamps for the focal point along with a Spellbinders background die. How I made this card:- I first of all stamped out the Hummingbird and flower spray onto white stamping card (the flowers on a pre-cut notched label) using Versafine Onyx Black ink and let them dry a bit. I then coloured both in using alcohol markers and Zig Clean Color pens - I tried to make the Hummingbird's wings look a bit translucent using pale colours - blues and yellows and then brown and orange for the body part. The flowers were filled in using Oranges, reds and yellows along with a couple of shades of green for the leaves. I set them aside and cut out the main background frame using a Spellbinders die in black card and stuck it on to the front...

Elegant and stylish ladies set of 5 monochromatic 7x5in cards -  Day 200 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Goodness, it is day 200 of my 365 day challenge and I have made this set of 5 7x5in cards to celebrate! How I made these cards:- I have had these toppers from Kanban for some time so am not sure if they are still available but I finally decided to use them for this project... I first of all decided which of them would be the most effective with some "spot colour" either on the lady herself or on the background/frame. I also wanted them to be slightly different, so have coloured one of the ladies with blue hair using Chameleon pencils - they are great as they blend so well. I coloured the 2nd lady with a bright blue Zig Clean Color pens on the brim of her hat and part of the frame. Party! Tropical leaves and cocktails dl landscape card -  Day 184 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for my challenge is a bright and cheerful DL card using distress inks, stamps and a mask. How I made this card:- The first thing I did was use the Cocktail Party mask to edge the top and bottom of a DL landscape (with the fold on the left hand side) with the abstract pattern in bright red ink (Festive Berries from Tim Holtz Ranger ink) moving it along to finish the design off. I then let it dry as I didn't want smudges on the front of the card! Once it was, I used Parrot Green ink from Altenew to colour through the palm leaf part of the mask and  once again let it dry. I also used the mask to add the word PARTY! (again from the mask) this time using Catherine Pooler's Something Borrowed (blue) dye based ink. I then stamped the two different cocktails on to some stamping card with Onxy Black Versafine ink and coloured them in using Zig ...

Hugs and Kisses Zentangled Cat 7x5in card -  Day 161 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well have the French Tennis Open on in the background whilst doing this blog and as usual want both players to win! Anyway, I thought this card turned out quite well and thought I would tell you how I made it! How I made this card:- I first of all used Canvas (the website app for my Brother Scan n Cut and exported a picture of a cat on to it and resized it to 3.5" x 4" and cut it out in white card. I then used a fine Micron pen with black ink and Zentangled inside the cat - I probably will make them a bit larger the next time. I coloured them in using Zig Clean Color Real brush pens and some alcohol markers. I took a sheet of Khaki green paper (from a pack from Creative Crafting World I think) and stuck it to the bottom half of a 7" x 5" white card and trimmed it to fit (turning the card over so I could see the edges. Hay There cute animals with rainbow in window apertures 6" card - Day 138 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for day 138 of my challenge was really fun to make - once again using Distress inks and stamps from For The Love of Stamps Hunkydory collection. How I made this card:- I first of all cut a window aperture card in 2 and removed the panels in each quarter (to be used another time!) and used a Rare Earth Woodgrain stamp to colour the front of the window using Rusty Hinge Tim Holtz Distress ink and put it aside to dry. I then stamped out the donkey, cow and pig on to some white stamping card using Onyx Black Memento ink and coloured them in using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers (brown shades along with pink ones for the pig).
