Buzz Beehive Slimline canvas - 365 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!       Today's project for my 365 day challenge is something totally different for me, in that I have been playing with a slimline canvas. I first of all painted the top half of a Slimline Multi Media Board from TCW using the Neon Orange polish from Cosmic Shimmer - I allowed it to dry and then repeated the process and again allowed it to dry. I used some masking tape to create two borders of the orange and then painted the rest of the board with some Cadence Black Gesso, again giving it a couple of coats and allowed it to dry and then removed the tape. I added a piece of self adhesive paper to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card and die cut the Bees strip from Crafter's Companion Bee-yutiful Nature's Garden collection, removed the backing sheet and placed it on the top orange strip, burnished it so it was stuck down and then trimmed it. Always Bee Yourself.... handmade Bee circle card - 365 Day Challenge

  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's card for my 365 Day challenge is one that I have made from scratch using Dies and Stamps and a couple of crayons! I first of all cut out two pieces of white cardstock (approx 300gsm) using the scalloped edged circle die from Lisa Horton (but lots of other Companies produce them). I then scored one of them towards the top of the circle (about 3/4") and added some red liner tape to it, removed the backing and stuck the two pieces of card together making sure the edges matched. I decided that rather creating the image on a topper that I could attach to it, I would do it directly on to the front of the card (this meant I couldn't use alcohol markers as they would have bled through to the back). I needed to create the scene so decided to use a stamping platform - I used a load n fold one for this but you could use any that are on the market.
