Kingfisher in outline stained glass effect friendship card - 365 Day Challenge 2021
Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a bright and cheerful one I think - so looking forward to Spring! I first of all added some self adhesive paper (Wild Spider and Creative Expression have some) to a panel of white card. I then cut it out using the Kingfisher Outline die from Crafter's Companion with the white card. I also cut out another one in black, this time just wanting to use the outside frame. I coloured some white stamping card with a mix of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide, Simon Hurley, Prism (from Hunkydory) and Harmony (from Crafter's Companion) to create the background. Once I was happy with it, I attached the Kingfisher panel on top of it and used a Black fineliner pen to create more outlines in the spaces. I then stuck it to the front of a tent fold card (7x5in white from Paper Boutique - it is a landscape version but turned it on its' side to create the tent fold style).
