  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's is a bright and cheerful Birthday card using stamps and dies for my 365 day challenge. I used the Slimline Delicate square stripes die designed by Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions to cut out this panel from some hand coloured cardstock (using Greens and yellow water reactive inks). I removed all the waste and fussy cut around it and attached it to the front of a white DL card (the corners of which I had rounded using the Prism punch) using Crafter's Companion Dotty tape pen. I stamped out the Sunflower design on to some white card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink and coloured it in using Stabilo pencils. I fussy cut around it and then edged it with a black alcohol marker and then added it to the top half of the card with some thin foam pads. Congratulations - Sunflowers and butterfly square card Hi Craft Addicts! Today's card is one I have made using the Sunflower shaped Lisa Horton Die, some alcohol markers and stamps... How I made this card:- I cut out the Lisa Horton's Broken Tiles (Sunny Days) die set in black card and then the backing mat layer (which cuts out solid) in white and glued them together using PVA glue. Once it was dry, I then coloured the flowers in with Orange and Yellow alcohol markers blending them in. I found the waste backing sheet from a Butterfly (from Paper Boutique) I had cut out some time ago and thought it would make a good addition to this card so glued it to the bottom left hand side of the topper again with PVA glue. I attached the whole thing to the front of a 5" white card using PVA glue and added some Black Nuvo Drops from Tonic Studios. Relax, Calm, Unwind Sunflower mosaic style  square card  Hi Craft addicts! Today is Tessellating Tuesday, so have made this bright and cheerful mosaic style sunflower card using watercolours and a die. How I made this card:- I decided to use the Lisa Horton's Broken Tiles Collection - Sunny Days die set to make this Sunflower topper. There are three parts to it, the main frame (which I cut out first in white card), then added the sunflower part to the inner part of the die and cut it out in black card. I then stuck that part on to the white panel using a PVA glue (you need a bottle that has a fine nozzle as some of the bits are very narrow).  Once the glue was dry, I then coloured the Sunflowers in using Oranges and Yellow watercolour paints (any will do but I used the Watercolour wheel that Toni  Darroch's Stamps by Me company sold.  When that was dry, I then glued the whole panel on to the front of a 5" white card. Sunflower in silhouette on checked background square card -  Day 240 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Day 240 of my challenge and once again I have used a Tattered Lace Sunflower die - this time for a birthday card with a hand coloured stencilled background. How I made this card:- I first of all placed the More Squares 6" mask (from That Special Touch, Creative Expressions) on to a panel of white stamping card and secured it with some purple low tack tape. I coloured it in using a variety of Tim Holtz Distress inks - reds, oranges, yellows, blues and greens trying to blend them all in so the colour changes looked smooth... I trimmed it down so it measured approximately 120mm square and then attached it to a slightly larger panel of gold Mirri card (either Hunkydory or Kanban) having edged it in black using an alcohol marker. Let's celebrate! Sunflower on hand coloured background A5 shaped card - Day 226 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for day 226 of my 365 day challenge is one using Tattered Lace dies and Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks.... How I made this card:- I coloured the background in using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks (the 1st time I have used them) - They are brilliant to blend but still have lots to learn as to what I can do with them!! Whilst it dried (I left it overnight), I cut out the Sunflower Tattered Lace die twice, once in yellow and once in green.  I used orange and a darker yellow alcohol markers to add some shading to the flower part of it and then snipped it to just have the head of the flower. I then used PVA glue to attach it to the green flower making sure it was in the right place - this saved me colouring in both of the die-cuts! Hello 6" card with hand coloured sunflowers for day 80 of my 365 day challenge  Hello Craft addicts! Today's card is a hand stamped and hand coloured Sunflower card which is ideal to say hi to someone - once again I have used Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps range. How I made this card:- I took a deckle edged 100mm square white card (from Craft Creations) and stamped the large Sunflower design in the middle of it - the flower is from the Dainty Daisies collection but I have used it as a Sunflower.  I added some clear embossing powder to the Onyx Black Versafine ink as I was going to used alcohol markers and heat set it. I then used one of the smaller flowers and stamped it around the larger one - heat setting a couple at a time with the clear embossing powder. Hello Sunflowers, and cute critters shaped card -  Day 62 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a cheerful card made using strips of paper, some stamps, alcohol markers and distress/dye based inks. How I made this card:- I found this shaped card and thought I better use it up and so tore 3 strips of card - one green and one brown (they are double sided with a lighter shade on the reverse). I first of all stuck the brown one towards the bottom of the card - leaving it unglued at the top so I could slip the flowers in.. I then added the lighter of the green and then the darker one again leaving some space at the top. To make the flowers, I first of all stamped 3 circles (using the Half-tone circles stamps from Altenew) on to some card - using red, yellow and orange for two of them and blue shades for the other one. Happy Birthday Sunflower and butterfly square card -  Day 53 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I am really not comfortable making "large" cards but thought I would give it ago for today's challenge - this time using a Sunflower stamp from Stamps Away and some Fleur's Flower Forming foam to make the butterfly. How I made this card:- I took a flower shaped card (from Hunkydory) and cut it in two as I thought it would make a good layer for the card I wanted to make. I then stamped the sunflower on to it and heat embossed it with my heat tool (using Versafine Onyx Black ink and a clear embossing powder) I coloured the sunflower in using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers (mainly CR1, GB6 and DR4) trying to blend them to make the inner part of the flower darker. I also used a brown alcohol marker (EB6) for the inside and added some black dots as well. I edged the flower layer with the CR1 and then a narrower edge of a black alcohol marker as I wanted ...
