Butterflies Birthday 8" birthday card -  Day 265 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So for today's challenge, I have used a sheet of the beautiful "Falling Leaves" paper pad from First Edition (Trimcraft) along with the "Happy Birthday Butterfly" die from Tattered Lace. To make the topper and card:- I first of all cut the front of the 8" square card along the diagonal line using the "Cutterpillar-Pro" - this is brilliant as the light makes it so easy to cut a proper line! I then decided which paper design I would use and chose this "butterfly" one and used my "Brother ScannCut and cut out the "wavy edged" shape. I glued it to the pre-cut 6" "Gold" Mirri card (from Hunkydory). I then attached it to the front of the card making the sure that the glue was on the left hand part so it didn't stick to the inside of the card. Reach for the Stars - Fairy in silhouette DL cream card -  Day 223 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So today's card is a very simple but I think striking DL card using just 2 colours (and a bit of hessian) to complete day 223 of my 366 day challenge. To make the border strip -  I went into my Brother ScanNCut's web app, CANVAS and chose a "jagged" edged border and a scalloped edged one  along with the large scalloped (not really sure how to describe it) edged one and resized them to the one I wanted and cut them out in black and again in yellow cardstcock. (If you want to make the edges the same you can always create an offset line to the main image and then cut that out). I glued the largest of the black strips to the left hand side of the card, leaving a small area of the cream card showing. I then added the yellow border and then the black one on top of that - think it makes a really striking contrast to the cream card...

Floral (Graphic45) design on blank 6" card -  Day 215 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Graphic 45 and Craftwork Cards come together to make today's 6" white card f or my 366 day challenge - day 215 which I can't believe! So first of all, I used a pre-embossed diamond checked 6" square card from Craftwork Cards and coloured the panel that was embossed with red and orange Generation INX pads - (I like these as they give quite a muted look). I then cut a piece of paper and placed it over part of the pattern at an angle and coloured it with some green ink (repeating it at the top and side too). I then cut a strip of the "tartan" paper/card that comes in the "Raining Cats and Dogs" 12" paper pad from Graphic 45 (but it does appear in some others too). and stuck it to the edge of the embossed panel. Reach for the Stars (Fairy on moon) monochrome 8" square card -  Day 213 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I really like monochrome themes and so for today's card have made this one featuring a lovely die cut from Tonic Studios and background papers from Craftwork Cards . How to make the main topper - First of all cut out the "Reach for the Stars" sentiment in white cardstock along with the main "Fairy on moon" frame. I then cut out another one in back cardstock and matted and layered them slightly offsetting them. I then placed them on some more black card so that the whole thing was black and white. Happy birthday - vintage shoe design 6" card -  day 208 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts I have made this quick and simple tentfold card for today's challenge ( day 208 of 366 ) using a die cut from Tattered Lace and the sentiment is one that I cut out using my Brother Scan n Cut machine. Using the "Lu Lu Shoe" die from Tattered Lace , I cut it out in black cardstock (Lynda Chapman's f rom Creative Crafting World) and glued it to a panel which I had taken from the standard templates from the Brother ScanNCut (rounded corner rectangle measuring 9.5x.7.5cm ) and had cut it out in red card. Once that was done, I then added a " Gold and red " frame which I had left over from a Hunkydory kit and glued it to the panel trying to make sure that the shoe was in the middle.
