Be Happy Stained glass effect butterfly A6 card -  Day 218 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a quick and easy A6 card that I made using Stamps by Me stamp, a stencil, alcohol markers and inks. How I made this card:- I cut out the butterfly using one of the Stamps by Me dies in black card and stuck it on to some white using Midas Touch Sticky dots (my new favourite way of attaching fiddly die cuts to something else - I will try the Sticky roll too soon!) I coloured it in using a variety of alcohol markers (trying to blend colours in to make them stand out more). I then cut it out leaving a narrow border around it. Using an oval mask (from a mixed 7" set from Clarity Stamps, I inked the external part of it using orange, red and brown inks (Hunkydory's Prism and Altenew red), trying to give it a feathered effect. Have a hoot of a day owl and butterflies 6" card -  Day 165 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So today's card is a slightly different one in that I have used a pre scored 6" Adorable Scorable card from Hunkydory along with a topper from Creative Crafting World's Paper Boutique. How I made this card:- As I mentioned yesterday, I found a load of pre-scored Adorable Scorable Cards from Hunkydory that I thought I better use up and I decided to have a sort of shaped card for this one. I first of all used my Cutterpillar and cut the front of the card diagonally from left to right (or of course right to left). I then used a Tattered Lace Torn Edge circle die to cut out part of the removed card (I will use that for another project). I used Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue to attach the spare piece of card to the inside of the card. Thanks -  a fun dog on tree background 6in card -  Day 164 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for day 164 of my 365 day challenge is a fun card using a mix of Hunkydory and Craftwork Cards (along with some foil and self adhesive paper). How I made this card:- Hunkydory had produced some pre cut 6" Adorable Scorable cards and so I thought I would use one for this project. I first of all added some medium width ultra strong red liner tape to the bottom edge leaving about 1/4" at the bottom and then added some teal/turquoise foil on top of it, burnished it and then repeated the process on the right hand side. I had previously coloured (using distress inks) this topper from Craftwork Cards but didn't really like the card I made so stuck it to some purple/lilac self-adhesive paper (from DoCrafts) with some Cosmic Shimmer PVA Glue. I then removed the backing sheet of the paper and stuck it directly to the top left hand side of the car...

Elephant in silhouette - have a wild time 7in white card -  Day 129 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! This is a card made from a beautiful Craftwork Cards topper along with stamps from the For the Love of Stamps range by Hunkydory and some coordinating card from Lynda Chapman's World of Paper. How I made this card:- I first of all took the zebra, lion, giraffe stamps from the Safari Adventure set from Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps and stamped them all around the edges of a 7in square card. I used various inks from the Dinky Inkies Sparkle range and used a water brush to colour them in. I then cut two pieces of coordinating brown and chocolate cardstock from Lynda Chapman's World of paper each slightly smaller than the other . I used the Have a Wild Time stamp and stamped it around the edge of the darker brown card using Versamagic ink so it gave a watermark effect. I then edged it using a dark brown alcohol marker and attached the lighter card...

On Your Special Day Cats in a window silhouette 7x5in card -  Day 120 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for day 120 of my 365 day challenge is one that I have made using a Tonic Studios die, some background papers from Craftwork Cards and a sentiment. How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the cats silhouette die from Tonic Studios (the blinds part of it needs to be cut out twice) - I cut it out in white and black card. I then stuck it to another sheet of white card and coloured the frame using a brown alcohol marker. I put a few drops of a Dreamees Pearl re-inker in a palette and coloured in the background, trying to make it darker at the bottom. I used a piece of the brick style paper from the Man Made Collection by Craftwork cards and inked it with some Rusty Hinge Tim Holtz Distress inks and placed in on a layer of Chocolate brown cardstock (from Lynda Chapman's World of Paper), leaving a wide border around each. Happy birthday elephant gatefold C6 card -  Day 116 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I created this card using a Tattered Lace die and a sentiment topper from Craftwork Cards along with some spotty background paper. How I made this card:- I first of all covered both sides of this C6 white gatefold card with the pale green/white polka dot paper, trimming it to fit. I then coloured in the Happy Birthday sentiment topper which is prefoiled from Craftwork Cards using Parrot and Bamboo Altenew inks and edged the topper in a dark green alcohol marker. I cut out the cute elephant in a dark brown card using a Tattered Lace die and placed it on a circle mat which again is a Tattered Lace die - but any would do. I also edged that using a brown alcohol marker and stuck the elephant on to it. Elephants in silhouette at sunrise 7x5in white card no message - Day 105 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for day 105 of my 365 day challenge is one I have made using a peel off sticker as the main focal point and a hand coloured background. How I made this card:- I first of all coloured the background with distress and dye based inks to create a sun rise - using reds, oranges and yellows on white linen effect card. I then stuck the Elephants peel off sticker on top of it and trimmed the card to fit it. The main layer is a Spellbinders die cut out of cream linen effect card, the border of which I brushed with brown distress inks. I then stuck it on to some brown card and trimmed it so that there was a narrow border. I cut a narrow strip of the brick textured card and coloured it with Red Brick and Tea Dye Tim Holtz Distress inks and glued it in the centre of the card. You're Turtley Awesome Mermaids and underwater scene C6 card - Day 93 of my 365 Day Challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a result of trying out blending colours on a textured background and I must say I was really pleased with this Under the Sea C6 card turned out. How I made this card:- I first of all cut a piece of textured paper from the Man Made collection from Craftwork Cards which measures 95x135mm approximately. I then used various blues shades of ink (Tim Holtz Distress and Altenew), blending them in to make an underwater effect - making it darker towards the bottom. The ridged texture makes it great for making it look like ripples. I added some yellow Tim Holtz Distress ink (Fossilised Amber) towards the top as I wanted to make it look as if the sun was shining through the waves and some True Graphite Altenew ink at the bottom.
