Set of 3 A6 cards Wildlife themed (Pollyanna Pickering) -  Day 190 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! For today's challenge, I have made a set of 3 A6 (105x148cm) cards using the fabulous images from Pollyanna Pickering "Walk in the Wild" card making kit. The first card is the "Born to be Wild" card using one of the "Wolf" images in the set - I first of all took one sheet of acetate ( double sided - gold/silver leafy from Hunkydory) and cut it to fit the front of the card. I then added some red liner tape to the top of the card ( tent fold style ) and added the acetate to it. I then glued the border on top of it so you can't see the tape. For the topper itself,  I glued the wolf image on to some matte "gold" mirror card (from Kanban ) using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue as it sticks well and cut it so there was a very narrow border. Tiger and cub Pollyanna Pickering rocker card -  Day 125 of my 366 day challenge  Hi Craft addicts! So, I am once again using the Tiger and Cub image from the " Walk in the Wild " Card making kit by Pollyanna Pickering (there are many different sizes and shapes to choose from). I had cut out the Tonic Studios " Celtic Dream Circle Layering Set" in black and wondered how to use it and thought I would try making it into a rocker card . So I folded it in half making sure everything was symmetrical. I then cut out one of the Tattered Lace "Pin dot Decorative Circles" (slightly bigger so that the topper had a narrow frame) in white card.  "TOP TIP" To make sure the card is kept clean from the cutting plates - cover the card you are cutting with some thin copier paper so that the marks go on that instead of the card!  I stuck the topper on to the white card and added glue to the bottom half and stuck it to the base c...

Hello - Tiger on paw print background with paw prints 7" square card -  Day 121 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! This is something different today - I have only used one topper (again from the " Walk in the Wild " card making kit from Pollyanna Pickering , the rest having been made using designs from SVG files that were on the accompanying DVD and others from the Brother " Stam p" files that you can get on the Scan n Cut. So, first of all, I decided on which files I wanted to use - these were " Paw print circl e" and the " hello ". I adjusted them to measure 13.5cm square for the first one, and 8cm for the latter. I then used some American Craft Black 216gsm cardstock and cut all the images out - I had designed them all in CANVAS and saved them to the memory.  As all the " paws " cut out separately it is important to make sure that all the component parts are not lost! Happy Times - Tiger and cub Pollyanna Pickering wall hanging -  Day 120 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So for today's challenge, I have made this wall hanging using one of the delightful Pollyanna Pickering's Tiger and cub image. I first of all painted the plaque (which measures approximately 17x8cm ) with a couple of coats of Pebeo black Gesso acrylic paint.  Whilst it was drying, I cut out a strip of Kraft card using the Honeycomb Screen die from Tonic Studios and I threaded some narrow white ribbon through alternate holes and then attached it to the plaque using hot glue on the reverse. I really like the Popper pads that Creative Crafting World produce and I used one of the Tiger and cub images from the Pollyanna Pickering " Walk in the Wild" one, cutting the border off so it fitted the plaque and glued it using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue. I then cut out one of the " Happy Times " sentiments out from the same pad and glued it...

With Love Tiger (Pollyanna Pickering) 7" square card -  Day 100 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So it is my 100th posting for my 366 day challenge - goodness that has gone quickly! I have been trying to work out what to do for it and I have come back to the beautiful Tiger design from Pollyanna Pickering (from Creative Crafting World's "A Walk in the Wild" in the Card Popper pad series. I wanted the card to be stylish to match the painting, so have made the card slightly different this time. I first of all,glued the topper on to some black card so that there was a very narrow black border. I then folded the front of the card back on itself so it was a type of flap using my bone folder to make sure the crease was sharp. I used Tonic Studio's "Honeycomb Simple Screens" die set to create 2 panels - one in black and one in Kraft which I thought matched the colours in the topper. Tiger C6 gatefold card using a Pollyanna Pickering image -  Day 89 of my 366 day challenge HI Craft Addicts! I have once again used a topper from the "A Walk in the Wild" Card popper pad ( Pollyanna Pickering collection) from Creative Crafting World for this C6 gatefold landscape card. This time it is the stunning image of the tiger which has been placed in various frames within it. As it needs to be attached to the left hand panel, I added a backing layer of black card which I trimmed to make sure that it fitted the card! (These toppers fit perfectly on this style of card). I then cut out a long strip of Kraft card using the small scalloped edged Border Scalloped Strip dies (from Tattered Lace ) and then glued them to each side of the card. Once it was dry, I then glued the topper to the left hand side (about half way) so that it was equal on both sides and checked to make sure if fitted top and bottom.
