Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a bright and cheerful one using toppers and dies with a Gnome theme. I decided to use an A6 white card and so rounded the corners using my Hunkydory Prism punch. I used the Creative Expressions Shabby Basics Cheesecloth die and cut it out using Sheena Douglass's Kraft card. Using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks (Walnut Stain and Gathered Twigs) I dragged them across the die cut to give it a bit of depth and heat set it so it didn't come off on my hand! I used a dotty tape pen to attach it to the front of the card - this pen is great as the glue only lands on the card and doesn't "string". I wanted to use the Gnome collection from Paper Boutique/Creative Crafting World and decided that the floral and gnomes on flowerpots toppers would be idea. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is one uses stamps and dies from a variety of Companies.... I first of all stamped the Scribbly owl from Jane Gill's Woodware range on to some white stamping card using Gina K's Obsidian black ink.  I also added the Happy Birthday to you sentiment directly stamping it on to the topper. I then coloured it in using both Spectrum Noir Triblender markers (brown shades) along with some other colours for the eyes and flowers - you could of course colour it in using any media! I also used some of Tim Holtz's Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink on a glass mat, spritzed it with some water and then added an edge to the design. I used the largest of the Petit Picot edge Rectangle dies from Spellbinders (I really love this design) and cut it out and then trimmed it slightly to give a different effect to the border.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is one using just a topper, some crayons and a stamp! I used one of the toppers that Creative Crafting World produced in their Paper Boutique Colour Me Toppers Summer Gnomes range and coloured it in using my Stabilo FSC pencils. Once I had finished colouring it in, I used the ink that was left one one of my blender brushes to colour in the background. I then trimmed it so it would fit the front of an A6 white card. I used a black fineliner pen to add a bit of faux stitching to the edge of it and then attached it to the card using a tape pen. I then stamped out the Made for you with Love sentiment as I thought it appropriate with the Jam and scones etc using Gina K's Obsidian Black ink on white card, cut around it and then coloured the With Love in with a alcohol marker and attached it to the bottom of the card with foam pads.     Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a fun card using some stamps, Distress Oxide inks and a craft knife. I stamped out the Fairy Door using a design from Francoise Read (in her Woodware Stamps range) using Gina K Obsidian Black ink. I then used 3 shades of Brown Spectrum Noir Triblender markers to colour in the door and then Pink, Yellow and Green for the flowers and leaves. I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks (Salty Ocean and Rustic Wilderness) to create the background. I fussy cut around the image and edged it with a black alcohol marker. I decided I wanted the door to open, so I used my Tonic Studios Craft knife to cut around the door making sure that it could open properly and then cut out the oval window. I had thought I wanted a Fairy inside the house, but decided it would be more fun to use the Hamster stamp from Sweet Dixie, so stamped it out on to some white card again using Gina K Obsidian Black ink and...

  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is A6 and has been made using dies, stamps and colouring materials. I cut out the largest panel (Lisa Horton's Harlequin Bubbles Mini Slimline Die) in Lynda Chapman's Black card first of all. I then cut out a smaller rectangle in white and whilst still in the die, coloured it with a variety of Harmony inks from Crafter's Companion - red, yellow and orange and blended them in until I was happy with the result and took it out of the die to dry. I cleaned the die so that there was no ink left on it. I then cut out the sentiment panel dies which are from the Tags collection from Carnation Crafts - the layering panel in white and coloured it in to match the main background, then the ornate part in Lynda Chapman's Black card and the sentiment panel in white. I then used a dotty pen (from Crafter's Companion) to attach the ornate panel to the back layer and then a normal tape pen to attach the white panel. The sentiment, ...

Well hello again It might sound like a broken record, but I really enjoyed making this card and I hope you like it too! I cut out the film strip using one of Toni Darroch's Stamp by Me dies in black card (Lynda Chapman's Creative Crafting World) having previously attached it to some Wild Spider Self Adhesive roll. I then attached it (removing the backing sheet) on to some white card. I felt that it would be ideal to use the fun Dog stamps from Lisa Horton so I stamped the two dogs out using Gina K's Obsidian Black Amalgam ink (it is great as you can use any media to colour the image in) and then stamped the Forever Friend in the centre space. I also used one of the pawprints to add a bit more fun to it. Spectrum Noir's Triblender markers make it really easy to colour and shade and so used 2 Brown ones to colour the dogs in. Using a Sigma Micro pen (black) I added a balloon shape to the sentiment and made it look like the dog in the bottom strip was holding on to it. Fin...

Happy Birthday country scene white silhouette A6 card Hi Craft addicts! Today is Throwback Thursday, and rather than reproducing an older card, I thought I would make a card using products that came out some time ago! And here it is.. a Birthday card using Hunkydory's Stylish Silhouettes sets which I have had for ages but haven't got around to using them! How I made this card:- You need to release the pieces you need carefully as they are quite delicate and the "pips" come apart fairly easily... anyway, I decided to use the clouds, sun, scarecrow, tractor and one of the landscapes and placed them on to a piece of blue card I had left over (it measures approx 4" x 3". When I was happy with where I wanted them, I used a PVA glue (the Cosmic Shimmer mini bottle as it has a very fine nib) to add glue to all the pieces and stuck them on to it - you can use either side of them as one is a brighter white and the other a laser cut effect. The Hurrier I go.... White Rabbit (from Alice in Wonderland) 7x5in Kraft Card Hi Craft addicts! Well, this card was brilliant fun to make - the stamp was from Visible Images' Alice in Wonderland collection and here is how I made it (for Day 4 of the 100 day project). How I made this card:- I first of all stamped out all of the words and the White Rabbit on to some white stamping card (using Gina K Amalgam ink) I then coloured the Rabbit in using Spectrum Noir Tri-blends (my new favourite alcohol markers as they are so easy to use). You can of course use any colours you want as he is a magical creature! I then cut them all out leaving a narrow white border around them all. I stuck the words on to some yellow paper (the reverse of the striped paper used for the background) and cut round them in a zig-zag design. Before that, I had also cut a piece of yellow and white diagonal striped paper with a zig zag edge (from Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps paper range) ...

Cute Snowmen on 2 handstamped 4in cards -  Day 332 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I had great fun making these cards using stamps and alcohol markers - they are small cards so could be used as tags too! How I made these cards:- Card One (left) I have had the oval mats and layers from Hunkydory for ages and thought I need to use them up so used a medium sized one for the card on the left. I stamped the skating snowman out on to the white INK me oval card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, trying to make sure it was in the middle. I coloured it in using Orange, Red and a cool Grey alcohol markers (any will do but I used Prism markers from Hunkydory). I then attached it to the Gold layer using a tape pen, again trying to make sure it was centred. I also added some blue and green dye based inks to create a background.
