Happy Christmas Penguins and Igloo square card Hi Craft addicts! I like using a variety of Companies when making my projects and this card is no exception! How I made this project:- This is a 5in white square card (which are available from a variety of Companies such as Hunkydory, Creative Crafting World and so on). I have had this A4 pad of a variety of Tartan papers for ages and so cut a strip (approximately 2" wide) and attached it to the left hand side of the card using PVA glue. I then stamped out two of the Penguins and the Igloo from Lisa Horton's Penguin Fun stamp set from Creative Expressions using Gina K's Black Amalgam ink on to some white stamping card. I coloured them in using alcohol markers (both Hunkydory's Prism and Spectrum Noir) and cut them out close to the edge, which I then coloured in with a Black alcohol marker. Merry Christmas Penguin card -  Day 343 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So today's card for my challenge is a cute penguin Merry Christmas card - using dies and stamps to make it! How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the Penguin die twice - once in white and another in black card. It is really clear where you need to cut it so,I cut the head and body out from the white version and stuck it to the black one, making sure it was in the right place. I then cut out a Torn Edge rectangle in black Adorable Scorable card (making a frame but using a smaller die in the middle) and a larger mat in cream Glitter card. I stuck the penguin on to the glitter card using PVA glue and then added the frame on top of that. I also cut out a larger mat again using a Torn Edge rectangle, this time using a wooden effect vellum.  I used some narrow red liner tape to attach it to the centre of a 7" x 5" top fold card (from Stamps by Me) and then glued the main...

Happy Christmas Penguin with sled topfold card -  Day 339 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a fun Christmas card which turned out really well (in my opinion) for day 339 of my 365 day challenge... How I made this card:- I used the latest Arch die (from Paper Boutique's Celestial Collection) to cut out the main shape using white stamping card. I then used 3 Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink pads (Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon and Broken China) and coloured the whole of the Arch (I really like the embossing feature around the bottom square). I then glued it to the front of a 7" x 5" white top fold card (from Stamps By Me) using Collall All Purpose glue as it gave me some wiggle time to get it in the right place. I also splashed some water over the it and removed the excess with some kitchen roll so that it "bleached" parts of it and add some White Gel Pen to add some more stars. Season's Greetings Cute Penguins in a row DL card -  Day 320 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Goodness, it is less than 6 weeks till Christmas now and so I thought I better start posting some of the Christmas cards I have made... So here is the first one! How I made this card:- I first of all stamped out the penguin strip on to some white card using Tuxedo Black Memento ink - as it is a long stamp I used my Eureka 101 stamping platform to do this. I then coloured them in with various alcohol markers. I decided to then stick them on to a strip of vellum/parchment as I wanted to add them to the striped background. As you wouldn't be seeing the glue, I used a PVA glue to do this. Once it was dry, I added some narrow ultra strong red liner tape to either edge of the parchment and attached it to the red and white backing paper. This background is slightly narrower than the white DL card (side fold) and so glued it to the front of it leaving a small space ...

Cute Penguin - Happy Christmas square card -  Day 339 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! This "Penguin" die from Tattered Lace always makes me smile so have made this "Happy Christmas" square card using it, some Tonic Studios backing paper and another Create and Craft die. How I made this card:- I cut the "Penguin" die out in both black and white cardstock and cut the face and the body out from the white and paper pieced them on to the main black die cut and put it aside for the moment. I then cut the oval frame using one of the dies that Create and Craft produced a couple of years ago. Keeping it within the die, I then coloured it using "Blue" dye based inks making it darker around the edge and added a bit of "Green" in the centre. I took it out of the die and stuck the "Penguin" in the centre of it using Cosmic Shimmer PVA Glue. I think the next time I make it, I will use self adhesive papers such as...

Lost penguin... Greetings from the North Pole shaped Christmas card -  day 326 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So today's card is a cute and fun Christmas card using a Tonic Studios die, a shaped card and stamps from Hunkydory along with some background papers from Kanban, This is day 326 of my 366 day challenge.. How I made this card:- I took the bits out of the shaped White card from Hunkydory and coloured the edges in Blue inks (I used a DoCrafts mini ink cube and sponge). I then used the "Greetings from the North Pole" sentiment from the Winter Greetings stamp set from the For the Love of Stamps collection from Hunkydory and stamped each corner in the same blue. I also used the small Snowflake from that set and stamped some all around the edge of the card. I the cut out the Picot edged circle in the double sided card from Kanban and again stamped some of the snowflakes around it. I stuck it to the centre of the card using Cosmic...
