  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a fun New Home card featuring a toadstool. I first of all stamped out the toadstool image (from Dylusions) on to some white card - I placed the stamp on my desk, inked it with Gina K Obsidian Black ink and then placed the card over it making sure the image came out ok. I then coloured it in using a mix of Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers - red, browns and yellows until I was happy with the result and cut around it trying to cut on the black line. I used a scissors to open the door leaving a bit uncut so it opened. For the background I coloured some Willow White Sheena Douglass cardstock using Ink Lily Winter Glitter pens (which have gold glimmer in them but can't be seen in the pic). I also created another background using a piece of yellow cardstock from a Tattered Lace Halloween collection and spritzed it with a variety of Aladine's Izinks sprays to create a brownish background. I used a craft knife to open the door leaving a bit uncut so it opened. For the background I coloured another piece of white card using Creative Expressions Watercolour inks by dabbing on some of the purple and green shades and mixing it around with some water. I used a narrow DL Lisa Horton die to cut it out and then cut another slightly larger panel out of Paper Dienamic bronze Metalinks and stuck them together with a solid tape pen.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is one made totally from scratch using just dies and toppers... I hope you like it. I first of all used the largest of the Striped Oval dies from Tattered Lace and cut out two pieces of white card. I scored one at the top (about 3/4") and folded it back, added some red liner tape and created my card by sticking the two together. I then cut out a mat layer using the largest ornate die, using a golden colour Paper Dienanamics Metalinks card. Using a dotty tape pen, I attached it to the front of the card making sure it was the right way up as I found out that it did matter! I then used two toppers from the Gnome topper collection from Paper Boutique - added the stripy one to the left with a tape pen and the toadstools on some foam tape to give it a bit of height. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge has been made from scratch and here is how I did it..... I first of all took the 7x5in die (from Creative Expressions Noble Rectangle die collection designed by Sue Wilson) and cut two pieces of white card and attached them together by scoring about 3/4" from the top of one of them, adding some red liner tape and sticking them together. I then cut out two further pieces, the mat layer in Lynda Chapman's Black card and then one in white. I stuck the black mat layer on to the front of the card and then coloured the white piece using various Izink Dye based ink pads to create a magical looking background. I was playing with the latest Gnome collection that Crafter's Companion's Nature Collection - Gnome Home and Gnome child and created the larger of the toadstools using the dies and stencils and some of Izink ink (what was left on my brushes). Happy Birthday toadstools C6 Gatefold card -  Day 109 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge was made using Hunkydory For The Love of Stamps and some polka dot backing paper on a C6 gatefold card. How I made this card:- I took a sheet of the green/blue polka dot paper (from Creative Crafting World's Paper Boutique A Hint of a Hoot 8" paper pad and stuck it on either side of a C6 gatefold card - trimming it to fit. I then cut a sheet of brown paper to make it look like some earth for either side and glued them to the card. I also stamped two toadstools on to some white stamping card using Versafine Onyx Black ink, covered them in Clear Embossing powder and heat embossed  them so I could use alcohol markers on them. The Toadstool caps were coloured using a bright red and the stalks in a tan and beige colours. I also coloured the doors and surround in brown. Fairy on toadstools with a ladybird 7x5in Z-fold card -  day 97 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's project (for day 96 of my 365 day challenge) is one that I have still to perfect - a Z-fold card! i have used Tattered Lace dies, colour wash paints from Tattered Angels and Rare Earth blending inks.. How I made this card:- I used two 7x5in white straight edged cards and folded the front cover on each back on themselves and then a strip measuring  about 2" from one of them from the bottom. I then folded that one in the opposite way to the first one so that the longer edge was at the front and the two shorter edges were at the back. I then coloured it with various shades of green Tattered Angels Color Wash paints and left it to dry. I also used it to colour 2 panels inside the card. Thinking about it now, I would probably used blending inks to do this as the paint warped the card slightly. Whilst it was drying, I used Rare Earth's Lavender ...

Just to say... xoxo toadstool on hand coloured background holey 5in white card -  Day 61 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well I hope you are all ok and not too affected by this Beast from the East! Today's card for my challenge is a fun card which I hope brings some sunshine to this gloom! How I made this card:- I first of all, removed all of the circles in the front of the card - was going to keep them but couldn't be bothered to be honest... I cut out a circle of white card using a Tattered Lace die (that fitted inside the middle panel and stamped the toadstool in the centre of it using Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed it with clear Stamps Away embossing powder. I then stamped the toadstool again on to a post it note (keeping some of the image where the sticky part is) - you can of course use some masking sheet (Hunkydory do a pack of it which you can use over and over again) I cut the stamp out keeping close to the edge and placed it ove...
