Hi Craft addicts! Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this simple but striking card using just black and white cardstock. I first of all cut two pieces of white card (Sheena Douglass Willow White) using the largest plain die from Tattered Lace Fretwork Poppy Square set and made a tent fold card from them by making a score line at the top of the card using my Hunkydory Adorable Scoreboard. I creased the score line and then added some Red Liner tape to the top bit, having first removed the release backing sheet from it. I matched the edges by butting it against the scoreboard and joined the two together to make the card. I cut out the ornate layer from the same set from Lynda Chapman's Black card and stuck it to the card only gluing the middle part allowing the fretwork edge to remain free.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's card for my 365 day challenge is this fun A6+ card that I have made using mainly Paper Boutique Gnome collection. I used an A6 card (so many Companies produce them) and rounded the corners with a Hunkydory Prism punch. The circles are created using a stencil (I think it might have been a Thirsty Brush one but am not sure) and coloured through it using Blue and Yellow inks left on my blending brushes. I then took one of the Gnome toppers from Paper Boutique (one of Creative Crafting World's range and fussy cut around it. I edged it with a black alcohol marker and then stuck it to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card and fussy cut around that leaving a narrow border. I decided to use some pale blue/lilac paper stock to add another layer so I cut a piece out leaving a border (approximately .5") and stuck the topper to it and then rounded the corners with the same punch I used for the card. Just to Say.. Thinking of You poppies DL card -  Day 315 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I thought on this Remembrance Sunday, I would show how to make this card with Poppies as the main theme. How I made this card:- I coloured the trio of poppies (from a pre-printed paper pad from Hunkydory I think or it could have been from Chameleon) using Pink and Red alcohol markers (from Spectrum Noir). I then cut around the poppies leaving a white narrow border around it. I decided to use a DL cream card landscape as the Poppies would fit perfectly in the middle of it. Before doing that, however, I cut a strip of green embossed (with spots) card and glued it in the centre trimming it so that it fitted and then drew a black line along the top and bottom using an alcohol marker. Happy birthday - Scottie dog - C5 Shaped card -  Day 312 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So today's challenge is a very quick and easy card made using one of the "Pawsome Pets" topper sheets from the Little Book series from Hunkydory. How I made this card:- I used a C5 scalloped edged linen effect card which can be got from various suppliers including Create & Craft. I then added the "Scottie dog" topper sheet (from the Pawsome Pets Little Book of Toppers on to some "Silver" A6 Mirri card (which you can buy pre-cut from Hunkydory) using some Fingerlift tape (I prefer that when using Mirri card as it doesn't smudge it like wet glue does). I stuck the whole thing on to the middle of the card using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue. I also die-cut the "Dog bowl" in the "Silver" Mirri card (I cut it from the middle of the one used for the panel and glued it to the panel with the same PVA glue. Finally, I added...

Hare in flowers 5" square card - With Love -  Day 252 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for day 252 of my 366 day challenge is a pretty wildlife topper from Craftwork Cards and a "Lacy" card from Hunkydory. For this card, I first of all took one of the "Hare" images from the "Woodland Forest" collection from Craftwork Cards and a "holey/lacy" 5" card from Hunkydory. I first of all coloured the edges of the card using "Generation INX" inks in "Green", "Pinks" and "Blue" and sponged through the holes and spaces so that it coloured the inside of the card slightly. I then took a "Gold" circle frame which I had left over from another project and glued it to the centre panel of the card. I added some thin foam pads to the "Hare" topper and placed it on top of the frame. I had one of the "With Love" small "Kraft...

Just because - Art Deco lady in oval frame 7" square card -  day 171 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have time jumped today as I missed 2 days of my challenge - which I am going to have to catch up on later this week - where I will do 2 ideas a day!!! Anyway, for today's card, I have used a really lovely image of an Art Deco dressed lady on a 7" square card.... This topper (I think it is from a set from Kanban and comes in different styles and colours) was pre die-cut and comes in 2 parts and so I separated them first of all.- I then took a sheet of black and white 6" striped paper (from Craftwork Cards' Heritage Rose paper pad) and stuck it to the middle of the left hand side of the card. As there was now a gap on the top and bottom of the card, I cut out a long "torn edged " border strip in black card using my Brother Scan n Cut   and glued them to both. Vintage football image on a 7" square card -  Day 162 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well, as Euro 2016 starts today, I thought I would make this card - but with a slightly more vintage feel to it. I used a white 7" square card which Hunkydory sell and are excellent quality - they don't feel flimsy like some cardstock does! I wanted the card to have a rich feeling and so used one of the "Moroccan Mosaic" die strip from Tonic Studios and cut out one in red and another in gold mirror card leaving a narrow panel of uncut card on the right hand side. I then glued the gold one on to the red and vice versa so you are left with a mirror image of each colou r. Once it was dry, I then attached it to the front of the card trimming it from the back to make sure it fitted it perfectly. I had this football image from the "Gentleman's Journey" card making kit from Hunkydory and so added it to the card using foam pads. To finish...

Thank you Floral shimmer 6" square easel card -  Day 111 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have once again chosen a flowery theme for today's challenge as it is such a lovely day outside! Spring really does seem to have arrived... This is a 6" white square card which I have made into an easel card by folding over the front part into itself and scored it to create a clean fold. I then scored the bottom half in 1/2" increments using a mini score board (from the inside so it was embossed  on the outside). After that was done, I then coloured it using ink pads in pastel colours such as red, orange, green and purple . I really like working with the Generation InX as they blend well. Once that was done, I used a thin r ed liner tape at the top (near the score) and added some gold foil to it (I used the TODO version as it isn't just good for hot foiling).
