  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card is a very quick and easy card using Lisa Horton dies. I rounded the corners of a white A6 card using Hunkydory's Prism punch first of all. I then used a stitched rectangle die (measuring approximately 3" x 4.5") and cut out a piece of white card. Using Crafter's Companion Harmony Water reactive ink pads, I created the sunset ombre background by blending them all in starting with the Lemon Tonic, then Honey Pot and finally Fuschia. I left the panel to dry and then edged it with a black alcohol marker. I also used the same inks to colour another panel of card and then cut out the Flowers from Lisa Horton from it and then some others using Lynda Chapman's Black card (from Creative Crafting World) which I had added some self adhesive backing sheet to.   Hi Craft addicts!       I think this card is a really cute one and was pleased with how it turned out and is easy to make using some dies and stamps... I coloured a sunset background using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks (orange, yellow and red) blending them in until I was happy with the result. The hedgehogs scene is a Creative Expressions Paper cuts die set and I cut them out in white and black card - the latter used for the hedgehog part as I wanted them to be in silhouette. I first of all stuck the hedgehogs silhouette die cut on to the background with PVA glue - but you could also use self adhesive paper on the back of the black card to make it easier.  I then placed the white layer on to it framing the picture and leaving a narrow black border around it. Make a Wish .sunset hand coloured 7x5in cream card -  Day 271 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I am really pleased with the way this sunset has turned out - using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolours - they are really rich and vibrant along with some stamps from Card-io and a Tattered Lace die. How I made this card:- I coloured a piece of white linen effect card (the back of a card I didn't use) using various Kuretake Gamsai Tambi paints - mainly black, reds, orange, yellow and green trying to create an atmospheric sunset. I love the effect that the linen effect card creates as it gives a textured feel to it and then once it was dry, the space at the top where I didn't totally cover it in paint looks like stars! It is best to leave it to dry naturally as the card doesn't bend so much and so once it was, I edged it with a black marker and then attached it to some more white linen effect card which I also edged in black. With all my Love fairy and stars cream pearlescent card -  Day 259 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for my challenge is one using an absolutely stunning image from one of the Twilight Kingdom Little Books from Hunkydory along with some of the stamps from one of the Christmas range from For The Love of Stamps again from Hunkydory. How I made this card:- I took one sheet of the tree at sunrise from Hunkydory's Twilight Forest Sunrise Little Book and attached it first of all to one of their pre cut A6 silver Mirri cards and cut it so that there was a narrow border around it. I felt that it needed something extra so stamped one of the fairies and a lot of stars from the For The Love of Stamps A Christmas Wish stamp collection using Versafine's Onyx Black ink. Happy Birthday with butterflies on an ombre background Kraft card - Day 217 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So today's card is a simple but effective birthday card using a Tattered Lace die and an ombre background which I coloured myself. How I made this card:- I cut out the Happy birthday sentiment from some black card (it is a Tattered Lace die). I then measured a piece of cream linen effect cardstock so that it was slightly smaller than the 135mm Kraft card (120mm) and blended Red, Dark Red, some black, Yellow and Orange so that the was an Ombre effect that looked like a sunset - I really like the way the linen effect gives it a different texture. Once it was dry, I stuck it on to a slightly larger piece of white card (about 125mm) and then attached them both to the 135mm Kraft card. I then used some Midas Touch sticky dots to attach the Butterfly sentiment to the front of the card, at a slight angle so it fitted the card. I used some Morning Dew Nuvo...

Congratulations sunrise hand coloured and stamped C6 card for Day 137 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I was really pleased with the way this scene turned out - I hope it does look like a sunrise/sunset!! I have also used some Rare Earth and For the Love of Stamps for the decoration. How I made this card:- I first of all took a piece of white Water colour card and using the textured side, I coloured it in using reds, oranges, yellows, blue and black to make the sunrise/sunset background. So I could mirror the top and bottom (to give an idea of shadow), I did each colour at a time blending them in as I went along. I then masked off the majority of the background, leaving only a small gap in the centre and sponged through it using some True Graphite Altenew ink (I moved the paper slightly at an angle so it gave the impression of there being land on each side.
