Relax, Calm, Unwind Tryptych of 3 small MDF panels home decor.. Hi Craft addicts! Well, I have had this MDF panel for ages (to be honest so long that i can't remember who produced it and decided I would experiment with Glitz Craft pastes, a stencil and a sentiment stamp. How I made this project:- I first of all took out the 3 small panels from the main panel and painted the latter with Imagination Crafts Antique Pink paint. I left it to dry once and then gave it another coat. I then used a Black Gesso (there are many Companies who do this such as Pebeo, Pentart etc) to paint the three small panels, giving them a couple of coats to make sure both back and front were covered. Once they were all dry, I then used an anti static pad to clean any dust/moisture from one of them and stamped the Relax, Calm, Unwind sentiment on to it in the centre using Versamark sticky ink - I then added some white Embossing powder and heat set it. Special Friend watercolour flower spray square card Hi Craft addicts! Today is "Watercolour Wednesday" (am trying to think of ways in which to theme the projects I make).. and so the card I have made is using the stamps and co-ordinating dies from Thirsty Brush and watercolour paints (my first attempt at doing this type of thing..) How I made this card:- I had made a card using the fancy edge ages ago but it didn't go quite right so I threw the front away but kept the back and used it for the background. I first of all stamped the large floral spray (from the Modern Floral stamp and die collection)  using Versamagic, covered it with True White Embossing powder and heat set it. Once it had cooled down a little bit, I painted the flowers and leaves using Toni Darroch's Stamps by Me Watercolour paints (her Wheel) - the embossed areas meant that the paints kept within the specific parts. Friend... Dog in silhouette on tesselated sunburst background 6in card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is one I have made using a variety of dies, some self adhesive paper and a hand painted background. One of the projects for my "Tesselating Tuesday" theme! How I made this card:- I love this Sunburst Synergy Paper Piecing die (No. 1) from Toni Darroch's Stamps by Me and so I cut it out twice (it does not have a cutting edge so it stays within your card). I used Black and Teal self adhesive Metallic papers from Creativity International to do this as it is easier to paper piece if you don't have to glue each piece! I then took the backing sheet off the black die-cut and placed it on a precut piece of 6" white card (from Hunkydory, but Rare Earth do this size too).  Once I was happy that it was in the right place, I then used the backing sheet to burnish it down. Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card -  Day 265 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! The rain has finally stopped and so I have made this simple but effective card using stamps and dies... How I made this card:- I used one of Tattered Lace Floral Wreath dies to cut out the main topper in white card. I then coloured it with various shades of green alcohol markers and when I was happy with it, I stuck it to some Gold Mirri Card (approximately 3" square) and then using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue (or Gina K's Connect glue) I attached it to the front of a 6" black pearlescent card which is part of the Core Collection from Create & Craft so it formed a diamond shape. Using Orange, Red and Yellow Bleeding Art Tissue, I coloured some card and when it was dry I used a Tattered Lace Nested Beads Essential Circle Dies to die cut a circle. Unwind... Hot air balloon in silhouette on hand coloured background card - Day 249 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is another hand coloured one along with a Tattered Lace die... How I made this card:- I first of all coloured a white label tag (you can get a pack of 20 really cheaply) using Tim Holtz Distress Oxides - yellow, orange and green -but you could use watercolour pens or even the Spectra Bleeding Art Tissue to create the background though these could make the paper/card to "cockle"... I then cut out the Hot Air Balloon (from Tattered Lace) from black cardstock (I used Lynda Chapman's) and attached it to the label using Midas Touch Sticky dots. I edged the panel using a black alcohol marker (I think I left it the wrong way up as I can see it is a bit patchy). Hunkydory used to have pre cut A6 cards in Adorable Scorable but you could easily cut your own card to fit and so I had this gold...

Best Wishes flowers and sentiment A5 landscape card -  Day 243 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I wasn't going to do a blog today for my challenge but I changed my mind so have made this quick and easy card.... How I made this card:- I marked off the centre panel of an A5 card, this time using it as a top fold (tentfold) one and lightly marked them with pencil. I then used some purple tape (low tack) to cover the centre of the card and then coloured the top and bottom of it using Green and Yellow Distress Oxide inks from Tim Holtz (Ranger) - see below for colours. Once I was happy with the blending, I removed the low tack tape and placed the BEST WISHES sentiment (from Toni Darroch's Stamps By Me Lamination stencil set) in the middle and coloured through it using the same inks, this time trying to give an ombre effect. I decided that it needed something else, so I used one of the flowers stamps from Thirsty Brush to add it either side (I turned it up...
