  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a fun small card made using just stamps and inks! The stamp I used to make the card is the Secret Garden Rubber Stamp from Creative Expressions and is part of their Designer Boutique range.  I wanted to use it but didn't want to use it on a large card, so inked about 60% of it (the bottom part) using Gina K Obsidian Black ink and rather that taking the stamp to the paper, I placed the paper on top of the stamp and pressed it to get the ink in place. Once I was happy with the result (and I must admit I did do it a couple of times), I added some Black Higgins ink to various places to make them stand out a bit more - such as the fairies. I then used some Hybrid inks (a mix of Ranger Distress Oxide and Tonic Nuvo) to colour in the background. Happy Birthday Fairy and flowers 7x5in landscape card Hi Craft addicts! Am back in the world of the internet after a few days and thought I would make this Fairy themed Birthday card and here is how I made it using some Hunkydory and Rare Earth products.... How I made this card:- The background is one I created using one sheet from Hunkydory's Prism Colouring Pad Vol.2 - I coloured it in using purples and yellow Tim Holtz Distress and Rare Earth inks - I placed some on a glass mat directly and used a paintbrush to blend the colours in. Whilst it was drying, I used some medium width ultra strong red liner tape to add a border to the right hand side of a cream/ivory 7x5in card (landscape/tentfold) - I had previously placed the topper on to the card to make sure it will fit. Have a Magical Day Fairy and owl 6in easel card Hi Craft addicts! I wanted to try my hand at stamping and colouring the image in using Distress Inks/Dye based inks and am quite pleased with how this turned out! How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the mat layer from Tattered Lace's Engaging Elements Circle Frame set in white cardstock and then the foliage frame in green. I put the latter to one side and using one of the Fairies from Rare Earth's Pixie Forest A4 stamp set, I stamped it out using Obsidian Gina K Amalgam ink and left it to dry for a bit. Using Tim Holtz's Bundled  Sage and Evergreen Bough Distress inks, I squished a bit onto a glass mat and then using a waterbrush coloured her dress in trying to blend them in so there was dark and light areas. Time to Sparkle... fairies Once Upon a Twilight tag and card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a Fairy themed 6" card which I have made using the Once Upon a Twilight cardmaking kit from Hunkydory. How I made this card- This is made using various stages - the first being creating the background for both the tag and main topper. The former was using Red, Blues and Purples Sparkle inks from Crafter's Companion - I just painted them in strips and let each dry before moving on. For the main topper background, I used Jaquard Alcohol inks on a felt dauber (the rectangle ones) and added a few drops of red, green, blue,pink etc to it and "spread" it over a piece of transparent Yupo paper. When it was dry and I was happy with it, I then used a Tattered Lace square (with a fancy edge) to cut a panel out - it measures approx 10cm/4". Leave a Little sparkle...Fairies and dragon silhouettes at twilight   6in card.. Hi Craft addicts! I am so honoured to have been approached by Hunkydory who asked me if I would be interested in making some projects from their products and of course I said yes! - Here is the 1st one I made (It isn't the best but have so many other options in the Once Upon a Twilight set (you can buy it through the link in the title).. How I made this card:- I wanted to try and actually use one of the two Adorable Scorable cardstock you get in each pack and so I measured it against the front of a 6" black card and trimmed it using my Cutterpillar so it fitted. I then stuck it to the front and then trimmed it further so that it was flush with all edges. I wanted to use the rest of the card, and so I cut around the leaves (or is it part of Jack's Beanstalk?) and attached it to the right hand side of the card using PVA glue. With Love Fairy with fawn card -  Day 318 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft Addicts! Today's card is one that could be used as a Christmas card for day 318 of my 365 day challenge... How I made this card:- I used a mix of blue colours from the Bleeding Art Tissue by spritzing some water on to a craft mat (or glass mat) and placed them on to it until the colour had transferred on to it. I then used a paint brush to colour a panel (approx 5" x 3") of white water colour card (or good quality stamping card) until I was happy with the result - I added darker shades to the top and then some lighter ones on the bottom (along with some purple too). I let it dry and then splattered it with some water and took the excess off with some kitchen towel. I edged it with a black alcohol marker  and stuck it to the front of a A6 white card. With all my Love fairy and stars cream pearlescent card -  Day 259 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for my challenge is one using an absolutely stunning image from one of the Twilight Kingdom Little Books from Hunkydory along with some of the stamps from one of the Christmas range from For The Love of Stamps again from Hunkydory. How I made this card:- I took one sheet of the tree at sunrise from Hunkydory's Twilight Forest Sunrise Little Book and attached it first of all to one of their pre cut A6 silver Mirri cards and cut it so that there was a narrow border around it. I felt that it needed something extra so stamped one of the fairies and a lot of stars from the For The Love of Stamps A Christmas Wish stamp collection using Versafine's Onyx Black ink. For a Little Princess - Have a magical day Birthday square card - Day 224 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for day 224 of my 365 day challenge is a Birthday card that could be used for a little girl or just someone who likes Unicorns and fairies! How I made this card:- I took one page  from the Twilight Forest fairy collection by Hunkydory and separated the topper from the frame. I then hand coloured a piece of white stamping card that fitted the inside of the card trying to make it look like a sunrise. I used Creativ's Bleeding  Tissue to create it. I stuck the background in the card, trimming it to fit. I cut the two border strips into 4 and stuck them on to the frames using a tape pen making sure that when I added the circle topper the joins were hidden. I then added the two mini sentiments on either side of the main topper.  To make sure the "waste" part of the topper fitted,I had previously placed the circle topper...

Fairy and flower cartonnage gift tag or home decor -  Day 157 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well the sun is shining today which makes a lovely change and for my challenge today, I have been playing with tag shaped cartonnage/chipboard shapes. How I made this project:- These are, I think chipboard/cartonnage label shaped tags (not MDF) and I think I should have painted it first with some Gesso to act as  a primer but still I think it still turned out ok. I used Tattered Angels Colour Wash paints (blues, greens, browns and a hint of yellow to colour in the background. I let each coat dry before adding another (I think I did about 4 or 5) and then let it dry overnight. I cut out the fairy and the flower toppers in white cardstock (both Tattered Lace dies) and coloured them in - I left the fairy's hair white as I thought it added some interest and her wings and flowers in a couple of shades of pink.
