May your days be bright... 7x5in card - 365 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts! Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a bright and cheerful card using various products... I rounded the corners of a 7" x 5" top fold card using a Hunkydory corner punch. I then cut a piece of green paper (from Paper Boutique Dancing Daisies 8" paper pad) to fit the front of the card leaving a narrow border around it (approximately 6.5" x 4.5". I also rounded the corners of it too. I took one of Lisa Horton's Slimline Floral stencils and coloured through it using pastel hybrid inks (Tim Holtz/Crafters Companion and Nuvo) and trimmed it so that it measured about 2.5" x 5" and rounded the corners. I then attached it to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card, trimmed it so there was a narrow border and then rounded the corners of that too. I fussy cut out the sentiment border from the Dancing Daisies Paper pad and stuck it to a panel of coloured card which I then edged with a black alcohol marker. I then stuc...

Just to Say... Mouse and poppies 7x5" card - 365 day challenge

  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this simple but effective 7x5" top fold card using once again using the Mouse and poppies die from Creative Expressions... I first of all used some of Lynda Chapman's Black cardstock to cut out the Mouse and poppy die from Creative Expressions Paper Panda range. I had coloured some super smooth card using Hybrid inks to create this pastel background. I used a dotty tape pen (from Crafter's Companion) to attach the die cut to the panel as I didn't want any glue showing. I then fussy cut around it and added it to a panel of Lynda Chapman's Black card again using a tape pen and then trimmed it so that there was a narrow border all around it and then rounded the corners with a Hunkydory Prism punch. I then glued it (with PVA glue) to the left hand side of a white landscape card (from Paper Boutique range from Creative Crafting World) and the rounded the corners with the same punch. T...
