Just to Say... Mouse and poppies 7x5" card - 365 day challenge

 Hi Craft addicts!     

Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this simple but effective 7x5" top fold card using once again using the Mouse and poppies die from Creative Expressions...

  • I first of all used some of Lynda Chapman's Black cardstock to cut out the Mouse and poppy die from Creative Expressions Paper Panda range.
  • I had coloured some super smooth card using Hybrid inks to create this pastel background.
  • I used a dotty tape pen (from Crafter's Companion) to attach the die cut to the panel as I didn't want any glue showing.
  • I then fussy cut around it and added it to a panel of Lynda Chapman's Black card again using a tape pen and then trimmed it so that there was a narrow border all around it and then rounded the corners with a Hunkydory Prism punch.
  • I then glued it (with PVA glue) to the left hand side of a white landscape card (from Paper Boutique range from Creative Crafting World) and the rounded the corners with the same punch.
  • The Just to Say sentiment is from the Year of Sentiments file (from Crafter's Companion) and I stamped it on to some white card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink and then used the same colour hybrid inks to give it some colour. I fussy cut around it, added it to some black card and after fussy cutting around that added it to the middle right of the card with foam pads.

  Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is one that would be great for Valentine's Day and makes use of both dies and stamps! I had cut the backing layer for another project but didn't use it so decided to use it with this one. It is a Rose Gold colour Mirror card and the die is from Stamps By Me (I think). I attached it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card using fingerlift tape as I didn't want to have any glue showing. I stamped the cute kids image out on to some white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink - the stamp is from Bring on the Boys collection from Linnie Pink I coloured them in using Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir Triblenders as they make colouring in so easy with the 3 shades in one pen. I used blue and green Distress Oxide inks for the background and then edged it with a black alcohol marker. Hummingbird shadow effect on C6 white card -  Day 267 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 267) came about after I had cut out the "Songbird" die from the Couture collection and thought it would be really useful as a stencil using some inks. To make the topper:- I had cut out the "Songbird" die (from Couture by Create and Craft) out in white card and thought that it would make a really good stencil to use as a background. I took one of the Stamping card tags from Craftwork Cards (in the " Stamping Must haves ) collection and coloured over the die-cut in various places (also reversing it so the bird was looking the other way).I used a variety of green ink pads - Tm Holtz " Mowed Lawn " and Generation INX G01. Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card - Day 265 of my 365 day challenge

Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card -  Day 265 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! The rain has finally stopped and so I have made this simple but effective card using stamps and dies... How I made this card:- I used one of Tattered Lace Floral Wreath dies to cut out the main topper in white card. I then coloured it with various shades of green alcohol markers and when I was happy with it, I stuck it to some Gold Mirri Card (approximately 3" square) and then using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue (or Gina K's Connect glue) I attached it to the front of a 6" black pearlescent card which is part of the Core Collection from Create & Craft so it formed a diamond shape. Using Orange, Red and Yellow Bleeding Art Tissue, I coloured some card and when it was dry I used a Tattered Lace Nested Beads Essential Circle Dies to die cut a circle.
