Just for you on your special day A5 Vintage car card - 365 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!     

Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this possibly male orientated one featuring this vintage car (though I love this stamp).

  • I first of all placed some white card on to a stamping platform and taped it down so it wouldn't move and then added the Vintage car stamp (from InkLily) on to it where I wanted it and picked it up.
  • I then used Gina K Obsidian Black ink and dabbed it all over making sure it was completely covered (making sure that the image was complete).
  • I repeated the process and stamped it on to some masking sheet and cut around it and placed it over the image as I wanted to colour the sky and ground in.
  • I used Aladine's Izinks to do this with my blending brush.
  • Removing the masking sheet, I then coloured the car in using Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers - brown and grey shades.
  • I rounded the corners using a Prism Corner punch and then added it to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card and stuck it using a tape pen. I then rounded those corners too.
  • I placed the Car topper in the middle of an A5 card and marked it where the top and bottom where and then added some of Hunkydory's Prism low tack tape and coloured it in using Tonic Studios Nuvo Acorn Brown ink pad.
  • I also rounded the corner of the A5 card too.
  • Finally, I stamped the sentiment Just for You (from Woodware Stamps) out on to some white card and then used a Green Triblender brush nib pen to colour it in and then stuck it on to some grey card, fussy cutting around both of them and used a tape pen to stick it down.

  Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is one that would be great for Valentine's Day and makes use of both dies and stamps! I had cut the backing layer for another project but didn't use it so decided to use it with this one. It is a Rose Gold colour Mirror card and the die is from Stamps By Me (I think). I attached it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card using fingerlift tape as I didn't want to have any glue showing. I stamped the cute kids image out on to some white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink - the stamp is from Bring on the Boys collection from Linnie Pink I coloured them in using Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir Triblenders as they make colouring in so easy with the 3 shades in one pen. I used blue and green Distress Oxide inks for the background and then edged it with a black alcohol marker. Hummingbird shadow effect on C6 white card -  Day 267 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 267) came about after I had cut out the "Songbird" die from the Couture collection and thought it would be really useful as a stencil using some inks. To make the topper:- I had cut out the "Songbird" die (from Couture by Create and Craft) out in white card and thought that it would make a really good stencil to use as a background. I took one of the Stamping card tags from Craftwork Cards (in the " Stamping Must haves ) collection and coloured over the die-cut in various places (also reversing it so the bird was looking the other way).I used a variety of green ink pads - Tm Holtz " Mowed Lawn " and Generation INX G01. Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card - Day 265 of my 365 day challenge

Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card -  Day 265 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! The rain has finally stopped and so I have made this simple but effective card using stamps and dies... How I made this card:- I used one of Tattered Lace Floral Wreath dies to cut out the main topper in white card. I then coloured it with various shades of green alcohol markers and when I was happy with it, I stuck it to some Gold Mirri Card (approximately 3" square) and then using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue (or Gina K's Connect glue) I attached it to the front of a 6" black pearlescent card which is part of the Core Collection from Create & Craft so it formed a diamond shape. Using Orange, Red and Yellow Bleeding Art Tissue, I coloured some card and when it was dry I used a Tattered Lace Nested Beads Essential Circle Dies to die cut a circle.
