Boo! Pumpkin in silhouette Halloween Card -  Day 297 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well it is a week till Halloween and so have made this fun DL card using Tattered Lace dies and some stamps from Bert n Gert. How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the Pumpkin (from Tattered Lace) out in black card and using the same black card (well not the same piece obviously) cut out the Spider's Web and cut it in half. I decided to use a DL card but using it landscape tent fold instead of the normal portrait so I cut out a piece of white stamping card slightly smaller than the front of the card. I then used some masking tape to mask off the centre of the panel leaving about 1.5cm on the top and bottom and coloured it in using Orange, red and yellow Tim Holtz Distress Inks and blended them in until I was happy with it. I then edged it with a black alcohol marker. I also coloured in a square panel of white linen effect card again using the same Distress inks, ...

Boo! Trick or Treat Bat on gold background 7x5in black card -  Day 284 of my 365 day challenge  Hi Craft Addicts! Today's card is another one for Hallowe'en - this time a bit more stylish as I have kept the colours to black and gold. How I made this card:- I designed the bat frame in Brother Scan n Cut's Workspace by importing a JPG image to it using the Tracing function. I then added 2 rectangles and placed them on top of each other and then reduced the size of the inner one. Once I was happy with the size, I then subtracted it so that I was left with just the frame. I then added the bat inside it, making sure it was in the right place and then welded the two images together. I sent it to my Brother Scan n Cut and cut it out in black card (Lynda Chapman's World of Paper). I then stuck it to an A6 pre cut piece of Gold Mirror card (it could have been from either Kanban or Hunkydory) and trimmed it so there was a narrow border around it. I used a PVA...

Boo! Happy Halloween Ghosts 5" square card -  Day 282 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is another Hallowe'en card (which you can buy on my website) made using some die-cuts and a background made using a stencil. How I made this card:- I placed the bubbles stencil/mask (from Skull and Cross Buns) over the front of a 5" white card, taping it down with purple tape and coloured through it using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks (Abandoned Coral and Shaded Lilac) blending them in to create darker pinks and blues to make a purple! I used the circle die from the Woven with Love die set from Paper Boutique (but any will do) and cut it out in black card (Lynda Chapman's World of Paper) and stuck it in the middle of the card using PVA glue. I then cut out 2 ghosts from a Halloween die collection from Sweet Dixie (one in orange and one in white card - this is from Create & Craft's Core collection) and glued them to the circle on op...

Boo! Halloween square white card Orange and black -  Day 276 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Halloween is not something that I have usually made cards/projects for but there are some fun products around so thought I would make some for my challenge (day 276 today). How I made this card:- I first of all decided what images I wanted to use for the main toppers picking the witches' hat, Boo and Ghost from Sweet Dixie and the Skull and spider from Paper Boutique and cut them out in orange and black card (from Create & Craft's Core Collection). I then cut out two pieces of the Orange card using a Tattered Lace Forest Pines Nested Square die and then matched the size with a die from Tonic Studios, this time cutting them out in black. I stuck the ghost and the Boo! on to one of the Orange mats, and then before adding the skull to the remaining one, I placed some white card behind the eyes and mouth and then stuck that down. I repeated this adding the w...
