  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a quick and easy card for someone's Birthday.... I took an A6 white card (so many Companies produce these now but I use either Hunkydory or Paper Boutique) and rounded the corners with a Hunkydory Prism punch. I then die cut the outline leaves (from the Linear Poppies set from Stamps by Me) out using Lynda Chapman's Black card and stuck it to some white card and coloured it in using Spectrum Noir Triblender markers until I was happy with the shading. I used a rectangle stitched die and cut out the background from some heavyweight Yupo paper that I had coloured using Himi Silky crayons. I used a dotty tape pen and attached the die cut to it and then stuck it to some Black card which I trimmed to fit and then rounded the corners using the same punch.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is one that I am really pleased with as my blending seemed to be work quite well (Though it is darker in real life)!  I took a 5" white card and rounded the corners with my Prism (Hunkydory) punch. I then cut a scalloped circle using a Lisa Horton die out from Lynda Chapman's Black Card from Creative Crafting World. I also cut out a slightly smaller one in white card and then used the Mini Tiles Woodware Stencil (designed by Francoise Read for Creative Expressions) and added some pink, yellow and orange inks through it and left it to dry. I stuck the smaller circle on to the black one using a tape pen and stuck it to the front of the 5" white card using the same tape pen. For the main toppers, I first of all die cut both the flower and foliage outlines in white card and then put them back into the waste after having put it on a stamping platform so I knew exactly where to stamp. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card is a very quick and easy one to make but looks very stylish! I cut out a panel of white card using the Inverted Scalloped Edge die from Crafter's Companion Gemini Range. I then coloured it with Simon Hurley Green inks creating a darker edge to it and a lighter one towards the middle. I also edged it with a black alcohol marker so that it stood out. I cut out the leaves in green card - I must admit I can't remember if it was a Lisa Horton or Stamps by Me die. Before attaching the panel to the front of a DL card (from Paper Boutique by Creative Crafting World), the corners of which I had rounded using my Prism punch, I put some Green Crystal Tints watercolour paint on to a palette and added some water and then splattered it over the card to give it an added effect. I used PVA glue to stick both the panel and leaves to the card. I then stamped out the scroll Happy Birthday sentiment from Tattered Lace on to some white card...

Happy Birthday...Leaf in silhouette on hand coloured tag A6/A2 card Hi Craft addicts! Nearly the Bank Holiday weekend and so I have made this quick and easy Birthday Card using a Stamps by Me die and some stamps (along with a hand painted tag)... How I made this card:- The base card is an A6 (A2 in the US) which can be got from all sorts of companies such as Hunkydory, Paper Boutique etc.... I had coloured the tag (it is a medium sized cream one) using orange, yellow, green and red water colour paints and left it to dry. Whilst that was happening, I cut a panel of blue card, 4.5" x 5.5" (from Create & Craft's Core Collection) to fit the front of the card and embossed it with the Skinny Woodgrain Embossing Folder from Creative Expressions. When the tag was dry, I place the leafy foliage die from the latest Stamps by Me collection and cut it out in the centre. I will use the actual die cut in a later project as I wanted to use the "waste" cut...

Hope your Birthday is amazing...foliage black and green square card Hi Craft addicts! I am having great fun making these backgrounds using Tim Holtz Distress Crayons and the Broken Tiles die set from Lisa Horton/Creative Expressions. How I made this card:- I cut out the main topper (Lisa Horton's Broken Tiles Dragonfly die set) using Black Pearlescent card from Create & Craft. There are three dies for this particular part of  the card and I used the main square and foliage to cut it out. I used my Gemini machine for this I did wonder what sort of background would work and decided that one that I had created using various green Tim Holtz Distress Crayons on Yupo paper (translucent) would work really well as it gives a slightly misty look. I cut a square out and stuck it to the back of the main topper using a PVA glue making sure that there was no glue on the Yupo paper.  Thank you card  elephant theme with Lattice background -  Day 269 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge uses a small baby "elephant" that I cut out using my Brother ScannCut along with a "Lattice" background and a hand stamped sentiment... To make the toppers:- I used my Brother ScanNCut's web app CANVAS and took the elephant from the Stamp collection and resized it and printed it out in black card. i also cut out one of the "Wavy" line border strips from the standard templates after I had resized it. I then cut out the "lattice/Moroccan style" panel die (I think it is is Sue Wilson's from Creative Expressions in black card. I also cut out the "fern" style leaves dies in a pale green cardstock.
