Mini Card Challenge 5 - Live life in the moment small card - 365 day challenge

Image
Hi Craft addicts! Today's latest handmade mini card (the last one for the moment in my challenge within my 365 day challenge) is this small gift tag or mini card... I first of all cut out two pieces of white card using the Tattered Lace rectangle die. I scored one of them at the top and then added some red liner tape to the top and attached them together making sure that they were matched up. I then used one of Lisa Horton's stencils and coloured the front of it with hybrid inks (mix of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide, Harmony and Nuvo ink pads). I used one of Lisa Horton sticker sentiments (black on white) and attached it to some lilac paper/card, fussy cut around it and then stuck it to some of Lynda Chapman's Black card and fussy cut around that. I used some foam pads to add it to the centre of the card, attaching it at a jaunty angle. So if you think this sounds interesting then why not:- Follow us on Twitter       Like us on Facebook        ...

Owl on log 4in small card - 365 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is a quick and easy one that I made using watercolour crayons and stamps... I first of all took a piece of watercolour card and cut it to 3.5" square and rounded the edges with a Prism Corner punch from Hunkydory. I then rounded the corners of a 4" square card and scored it once around all 4 corners using my Hunkydory Scoreboard. I used the three shades of blue/purple Himi Silky Crayons to create the background - blending them all in with a paintbrush.  Once it was dry, I added some of the white Himi Silky Crayons to add some clouds, this time blending them in with my finger. I stamped out the Owl and the log on to some white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink (the stamp set is part of the Owl set from Avago Ink Designs which is part of Stamps by Me) and coloured them in using 2 brown Spectrum Noir Triblenders. I also used the wood stamp to add the forest to the background again with Gina K ink. I attached the background usin...

Celebrate! Fairy on fancy background small card -  Day 283 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Fairies once again feature in this card for today's challenge - this time using a Spellbnders die on top of a Tattered Lace one. I think this would make a lovely theme for a boxed set of cards that would make a great gift. How to make this card:- I must admit this is a very simple card to make..so I first of all decided that i would use an 88x114mm card - this one is a pre-cut/scored card out of Centura Pearl which I got from Craft Creations - but you could easily make your own card if you wanted to. I cut out the "Fairy" in black shiny paper using the "Cali"Shapeabilities die from Spellbinders. I then cut out the oval panel out of white cardstock using the Tattered Lace "Pearl Pin dot Oval" die (the middle size one) I used some Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue and attached it to the centre of the card and then placed some glue on just ...
