With Love Steampunk heart meets traditional hearts square card Hi Craft Addicts! Today's card is a mix of "Steampunk" and traditional and can be used for either Valentines Day or really any time you want to say you love someone.... How I made this card:- I first of all took a plain 7" white card (from Hunkydory) and cut about 4cm off the right hand side. I then coloured the front of the card using the "Love is in the Air" mask (from the Love of Stamps range by Hunkydory) with a "Red" Generation INX ink pad (I used the XOXO, hearts and balloon heart). Using the Tattered Lace "Love is in the Air Lattice" panel, I cut out the strip for the inside of the card in black card - I had made sure that it fitted before cutting the front part. I also used some Tonic Studios "Hearts" in a couple of sizes/styles to cut out the larger of the hearts in pale Kraft (and embossed it using an A6 embossing folder from DoCrafts Xcut ...

Robins on branches - 2 C6 Christmas cards -  Day 353 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have written a couple of days ago about a card I made using these toppers but when I came to look at it again, I realised that I had stamped the sentiment upside down! So rather than wasting the toppers, I used them to make these. How I made these cards:- I had, as I said earlier, both these toppers already which I had made out of a couple of peel off stickers which I had placed on pentagons coloured by using some "Blue - B01" Generation INX dies. I then mat and layered them to a couple of label/tag shapes which I had cut out in blue card and added that to some cream cardstock. I had also cut out a "jagged edged" strip out of "blue" card which I had cut  out using my Brother ScanNCut and trimmed it to fit both of the cards in the centre of them. Happy Christmas - Snowman with broom DL card -  day 350 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So today's card is one using the "Snowman with broom" peel off again - this time a DL Christmas card. How I made this card:- I really love these "Snowmen" peel off stickers and so once again have made a Christmas card using them. I first of all added the sticker to some super smooth card and coloured the background (masking off the snowman) using some "Blue - B01" Generation INX inks using more at the top of the card to make it darker (and leaving some white space around the snowman). I had added the peel off sticker "Snowflakes" before I coloured it and removed them once I had finished (using them like a stencil). I also masked off some of the lower part of the card and left it white so it looked like snow. Elephants in silhouette hand coloured background C6 easel card -  Day 298 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Goodness only 2 more to go until my 300th challenge - time has gone so quickly! Anyway for this card, I have coloured a background and used a peel off sticker to make this easel card.. I hope you like it! To make the topper/background:- I first of all took a panel of white stamping card which measures 12x7cm and used blue distress inks to create the background (masking off the moon area with another circle of paper which I had cut out. Once I was happy with it, I also added some light colour to give the impression of clouds over the moon. Hummingbird in flight blank 7" square card -  Day 212 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! For today, I have used this really pretty "hummingbird" topper from Hunkydory and various coloured Nuvo drops from Tonic Studios. I first of all took the "Hummingbird" topper and removed all the die-cut parts out from it. I then placed it onto a "Scalloped" edged panel of black card which I had cut out using my Brother ScanNCut . I then added it to a panel of white card which I edged with some "Green (G01) " Generation InX water based ink. Before adding the topper, I placed some red liner tape along the right edge of the front of the card and used some of the TODO Green foil to give it a border. I then stuck the whole panel on to the card using some thick foam strips to give it some dimension. Just for you - Oriental flowers and butterflies 5" x 7" Kraft Card -  Day 183 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So I am half way through my 366 day challenge and I have made this "Just for you" card using a really pretty Hunkydory topper.and a 5" x 7" Kraft card. I took the Kraft card and cut about 2" from the right hand side as i wanted you to be able to see the inside part too. I then used some of the " yellow/orange " paper from the Craftwork Cards "Ombre" 8" paper pad and stuck them to the front (and reverse) as well as the inside of the card. (You will need 2 sheets to do this). For the topper, I cut the " Lattice " style frame (Spellbinders I think) in " Pink" Adorable Scorable cardstock and glued the "Flowers and Butterflies "  image to it. Take it easy... Leopard on branch 7" square card -  day 175 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So I am once again using one of the wonderful images of a leopard l ying on a branch that is part of the " Walk in the Wild " cardmaking kit from Pollyanna Pickering that Creative Crafting World brought out a few months ago. I first of all cut out a scalloped circle using the " Pin dot Circle " die from Tattered Lace and hand coloured it using blue, pink , orange and purple " Generation INX " pads and stuck the round topper on to it. I then cut out a strip of black card using one of the pre-installed templates on my Brother Scan n Cut and placed one on the left hand side of the card (after I had glued the blue and white patterned border that came with the " Walk in the Wild " kit on it) and stuck it down.
