Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge has been made from scratch and here is how I did it..... I first of all took the 7x5in die (from Creative Expressions Noble Rectangle die collection designed by Sue Wilson) and cut two pieces of white card and attached them together by scoring about 3/4" from the top of one of them, adding some red liner tape and sticking them together. I then cut out two further pieces, the mat layer in Lynda Chapman's Black card and then one in white. I stuck the black mat layer on to the front of the card and then coloured the white piece using various Izink Dye based ink pads to create a magical looking background. I was playing with the latest Gnome collection that Crafter's Companion's Nature Collection - Gnome Home and Gnome child and created the larger of the toadstools using the dies and stencils and some of Izink ink (what was left on my brushes).   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is one that could be sent to a friend you haven't seen for some time! I decided to stamp the flower spray (from the Sending Smiles die and stamp collection from Stamps by Me) directly on to the front of a 7" x 5" white card which I used as a tent fold card. Before stamping it, I rounded the corners using my Prism punch from Hunkydory. I put the card in a stamping platform and stamped it using Gina K Obsidian Black ink a couple of times to make sure it was perfect.  I also stamped the Lovely Friend sentiment at the same time at the bottom of the card. I then added some masking tape and inked the left hand side of the card with a mix of Izink Dye based ink pads. I added a narrow strip of red liner tape, removed the backing and placed some black foil on top of it and burnished it so that there was no stickiness left. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is a fun and cheerful Birthday card using these wonderful Gnome themed products... I first of all took a 7x5in white card (Paper Boutique Landscape format) and rounded the corners with a Hunkydory Prism punch. I then used my Hunkydory Adorable Scoreboard and scored the front part of the card in the middle of it and folded back on itself so it measures 3.5" x 5". I used Lynda Chapman's Black card and cut two panels approximately 3.25" x 4.75", rounded the corners so they match the card. I decided to use two Gnome themed pre-cut toppers from Paper Boutique Beverley Eden collections and again rounded the corners and then stuck them to each of the panels trying to get them as central as possible. Using a solid tape pen, I attached the floral one to the front flap and then the Gnome itself to the inside of the card. These collections come with printed sentiments and so I cut out the Happy Birthday and Just for You one...

  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a fun small card made using just stamps and inks! The stamp I used to make the card is the Secret Garden Rubber Stamp from Creative Expressions and is part of their Designer Boutique range.  I wanted to use it but didn't want to use it on a large card, so inked about 60% of it (the bottom part) using Gina K Obsidian Black ink and rather that taking the stamp to the paper, I placed the paper on top of the stamp and pressed it to get the ink in place. Once I was happy with the result (and I must admit I did do it a couple of times), I added some Black Higgins ink to various places to make them stand out a bit more - such as the fairies. I then used some Hybrid inks (a mix of Ranger Distress Oxide and Tonic Nuvo) to colour in the background.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's card for my 365 Day challenge is one that I have made from scratch using Dies and Stamps and a couple of crayons! I first of all cut out two pieces of white cardstock (approx 300gsm) using the scalloped edged circle die from Lisa Horton (but lots of other Companies produce them). I then scored one of them towards the top of the circle (about 3/4") and added some red liner tape to it, removed the backing and stuck the two pieces of card together making sure the edges matched. I decided that rather creating the image on a topper that I could attach to it, I would do it directly on to the front of the card (this meant I couldn't use alcohol markers as they would have bled through to the back). I needed to create the scene so decided to use a stamping platform - I used a load n fold one for this but you could use any that are on the market. Well I hope you are all ok and not too affected by this Beast from the East! Today's card for my challenge is a fun card which I hope brings some sunshine to this gloom! How I made this card:- I first of all, removed all of the circles in the front of the card - was going to keep them but couldn't be bothered to be honest... I cut out a circle of white card using a Tattered Lace die (that fitted inside the middle panel and stamped the toadstool in the centre of it using Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed it with clear Stamps Away embossing powder. I then stamped the toadstool again on to a post it note (keeping some of the image where the sticky part is) - you can of course use some masking sheet (Hunkydory do a pack of it which you can use over and over again) I cut the stamp out keeping close to the edge and placed it ove...
