  Hi Craft addicts! Today's latest card for my mini challenge within a challenge is this A7 card using dies, stamps and inks...       The card is once again from Hunkydory and I rounded the corners with one of their punches. I then took a piece of purple card/paper and fussy cut it to fit the front of the card and stuck it on the front using a tape pen rather than PVA glue. I used Creative Expressions Pixie powders to create the background by tapping some of their brilliant colours on to some watercolour card and spritzed it with some water and let it dry. Whilst that was happening I die cut the rectangle frame (medium sized one from Tonic Studios) several times in white card and glued them together. I then edged it with a black alcohol marker. I stamped out the balloons and bear on to some white cardstock using the Birthday bear boy collection from Crafter's Companion Gemini collection, again using Gina K Obsidian Black ink.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a bright and cheerful DL card using just stencils and stamps... I rounded the corners of a DL white card (from either Hunkydory or Paper Boutique) using my Prism punch. I then cut a piece of white stamping card (Willow White from Sheena Douglass) and placed one of the 3 slimline flower stencils from Lisa Horton over it and inked through it using Oranges, Yellows and Red Hybrid inks (a mix of Harmony and Tim Holtz water reactive ink pads), trying to get an ombre effect. I rounded the corners using the same punch, glued it to some brown linen effect card (either Crafter's Companion or Sizzix) using PVA glue and rounded the corners of the brown card too. I then attached it to the front of the card, trying to get an equal border around it and then stamped out the sentiment using a Woodware stamp, Gina K Obsidian Black ink, coloured it with the same inks as used for the background, fussy cut aroun...

Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is a Birthday card using various Companies products including dies and stamps.... I used a 7" x 5" white card from Paper Boutique (landscape but top fold) as my base card to make this card and rounded the corners using my Hunkydory Corner punch. I then took a strip of a browny colour Metalinks card (from Paper Dienamics) and cut it out using a Lisa Horton panel die and stuck it to the middle of the card using a tape runner pen. Using a Spellbinders Petit Picot edge oval die, I cut the main topper panel out in Gold Mirri card and then again in White and whilst the card was still in the die, coloured it in using a mix of hybrid inks - pinks, yellows, greens and blues so it allowed a white border to remain. I added one of the Autumnal skeleton leaves from the Autumnal Blessings collection from Crafter's Companion using a dotty tape pen and then placed it in the middle of the card.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a quick and easy card for someone's Birthday.... I took an A6 white card (so many Companies produce these now but I use either Hunkydory or Paper Boutique) and rounded the corners with a Hunkydory Prism punch. I then die cut the outline leaves (from the Linear Poppies set from Stamps by Me) out using Lynda Chapman's Black card and stuck it to some white card and coloured it in using Spectrum Noir Triblender markers until I was happy with the shading. I used a rectangle stitched die and cut out the background from some heavyweight Yupo paper that I had coloured using Himi Silky crayons. I used a dotty tape pen and attached the die cut to it and then stuck it to some Black card which I trimmed to fit and then rounded the corners using the same punch.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this Birthday card using an embossing folder and inks... I first of all took a piece of white card (I am using Sheena Douglass's Willow White) and trimmed it so that it fitted the inside of the Falling Leaves Embossing folder from the Autumnal Blessings collection from Crafter's Companion and embossed it. I then placed the stencil over it and taped it down and then used a variety of Autumnal coloured inks (ie Walnut Stain, Crackling Campfire, Antique Linen etc Tim Holtz Distress Oxide) until I was happy with the blending and removed the tape. I trimmed it further so it would fit the front of a 7" x 5" white landscape card and used it as a top fold (from Paper Boutique by Creative Crafting World) and edged it with a black alcohol marker and then rounded the edges with a Hunkydory Corner punch.   Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this one using Stamps by Me products along with Hybrid inks... I rounded the corners of a 6" white card using a Hunkydory punch. I then cut a piece of teal Metalinks card (from Paper Dienamics) to fit the card leaving a narrow border around it and then rounded the corners of that too. I followed the instructions of the Stamps by Me Abstract Tulips layering stencils (from 1-4) using a variety of colours for each layer starting with the lightest solid image right up to the darkest outline style one last of all. I also used the little snowflake/star stamp and stamped it all around the image using Gina K Obsidian Black ink. When I was happy with the result, I rounded the corners and stuck it to the teal card and attached both to the front of the card. Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge was a fun one to make and again didn't have a die in sight! I used a DL card for this design and used a Hunkydory Prism punch to create the inverted edge to the corners. I cut a strip of white card measuring the length of the DL card and approximately 1.5" inw width and coloured it using Solent Green (Nuvo), Salty Ocean (Tim Holtx Distress Oxide) and a Yellow ink pad from Aladine Izinks. Once I was happy with the blending, I stamped the balloons image (from the Birthday Bears Box stamp and die set from Crafter's Companion Gemini range) three times, starting with the middle and then the top and bottom. I used Gina K Obsidian Black ink to do this as it is a hybrid ink and so can be used with either watercolours or alcohol inks. I then took a paint brush and bleached parts of them with some water, dabbing off the excess. I then added some of Tim Holtz Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink on to a glass...

  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this tall DL card I have made from scratch using dies and stamps.... I first of all took one of the larger Shabby Edge Tall rectangle dies from the Tattered Lace range and cut out two pieces of card (you need an A4 cutting machine to do this and I used my Kit n Caboodle Pro-cut). I scored one piece of the card about 3/4" from the top (down the long edge but you could do it at the top to make a tent fold version). I added some red liner tape, removed the backing and then placed them both together (making sure that they matched) to make the card. I took another of the Shabby Edge dies which was slightly smaller and cut out another rectangle, this time in this purple colour paper (from the World of Paper by Creative Crafting World) and stuck it to the front of the card using a solid tape pen. I used another piece of Sheena Douglass's Willow White cardstock and placed it in a stamping platform (t...

  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is one made totally from scratch using just dies and toppers... I hope you like it. I first of all used the largest of the Striped Oval dies from Tattered Lace and cut out two pieces of white card. I scored one at the top (about 3/4") and folded it back, added some red liner tape and created my card by sticking the two together. I then cut out a mat layer using the largest ornate die, using a golden colour Paper Dienanamics Metalinks card. Using a dotty tape pen, I attached it to the front of the card making sure it was the right way up as I found out that it did matter! I then used two toppers from the Gnome topper collection from Paper Boutique - added the stripy one to the left with a tape pen and the toadstools on some foam tape to give it a bit of height.
