  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's card for my 365 day challenge is using an older stamp set from Visible Image and no dies are in sight... I stamped the T-shirt image out on to some white card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink and then added the skull and Smile sentiment to the centre of it again with the same ink. I then used one of Crafter's Companion's Spectrum Noir Tri-blender markers to colour it in. I used one of Hunkydory's punches to add the notched corners to an A6 white card. I trimmed the main panel so that it fitted the front of the card, added skulls to each corner and then rounded the corners with another of their punches and edged it with a Black alcohol marker. I used a blending brush to add some blue shading around the t-shirt. For the card itself, I used an aperture diecut that I hadn't used to add some colour to the front of the card - I used blues and yellows as I thought it would co-ordinate with the main topper. Beautifully Wicked - Witches inspired from Wizard of Oz characters DL card Hi Craft Addicts! I had great fun using these stamps from Visible Image - I think I am going to try it with a darker background too soon as I think it could work with both. How I made this card:- To make the background, I measured a piece of white stamping card (I used Hunkydory's Ink Me 8" paper pad) so that it fitted the front of a DL card with a narrow border all around (approx 2.5" x 5.5") and painted it with Dreamees Dinkie Inkies Sparkle watercolour inks - especially  Phlox, Rosey (I know it isn't the right spelling but that is what it says) Cheeks and Sunset blending them all in so that the darker colours were at the top and the brighter ones at the bottom. To create the cloud effect, I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks - Picked Raspberry and Candied Apple. Seeing is Believing.... for a special friend A5 scalloped edge card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card I made using the Seeing stamp from Visible Image, a resist technique and some stamping... if you want to read more then see below! How I made this card:- I first of all took a piece of white card (approx 5" x 4") and stamped the eye image in the middle of it with Versamark ink (I had used an anti-static bag beforehand to get rid of any grease etc). Once I was happy that it had stamped the whole image (if you use a stamping platform then you can make sure that this is done) - I covered it with white embossing powder and heat set it. I then used a variety of dye based ink pads (blues, yellows, pinks and red) to cover the whole piece of card until I liked the effect and then cut it using the largest die in the3 Monza set from Tattered Lace. I used a piece of kitchen roll to clean any excess ink from the eye image. I also used some blue Tim Holtz Distress Crayon ...

Crazy Genius Two for Tuesday different handmade cards Hi Craft addicts! I really love the stamps that Visible Image bring out and I thought I would try to make 2 different cards using the Crazy Genius set - but first of all I had to set aside my natural instinct not to put the gent together in the right place! How I made these cards:- I first of all stamped the three different parts of the gentleman out twice on to white stamping card using Black Gina K Amalgam ink. I then coloured them in using various alcohol markers - Prism, Spectrum Noir and Tonic's Nuvo to be exact. I cut them out and stuck them onto some black card leaving a really narrow border around them all. I then stamped the eyes in using a red ink pad (Rare Earth). For the card on the left, I used one of Toni Darroch's Synergy dies to cut out the main background (I had added this to a previous die cut as a shim but felt I could use it as a proper one)! I used Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue to attach it to...

See Everything... eye and bubbles abstract style  DL card... Hi Craft addicts! This is a brilliant new stamp from Visible Image and I had to have a play with it to make this DL card... How I made this card:- I used the Tattered Lace Torn Edge Rectangle dies and cut out 2 different sizes of card - the smaller one in white and the larger one in the bright yellow card which is in the Core Collection Linen effect pack from Create & Craft. I stamped the See Everything image on to the white rectangle using Black Gina K Amalgam ink. I then masked off the eye and some of the bubbles with Cosmic Shimmer Masking Fluid and let it dry. Once it was, I used three shades of Prism ink (French Navy, Arctic Mist and Blue Lagoon),using the lightest one at the top and blending the colours towards the bottom with the darker colours. The Hurrier I go.... White Rabbit (from Alice in Wonderland) 7x5in Kraft Card Hi Craft addicts! Well, this card was brilliant fun to make - the stamp was from Visible Images' Alice in Wonderland collection and here is how I made it (for Day 4 of the 100 day project). How I made this card:- I first of all stamped out all of the words and the White Rabbit on to some white stamping card (using Gina K Amalgam ink) I then coloured the Rabbit in using Spectrum Noir Tri-blends (my new favourite alcohol markers as they are so easy to use). You can of course use any colours you want as he is a magical creature! I then cut them all out leaving a narrow white border around them all. I stuck the words on to some yellow paper (the reverse of the striped paper used for the background) and cut round them in a zig-zag design. Before that, I had also cut a piece of yellow and white diagonal striped paper with a zig zag edge (from Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps paper range) ...

Treat me like a Queen of Hearts tag on 7x5in card -  Day 297 of my 365 day challenge  Hi Craft adddicts! I really love this set of Alice in Wonderland themed stamps from Visible Image and I am gradually working my way through them... this time it is the Queen of Hearts... How I made this card:- I first of all stamped all of the pieces in the Queen of Hearts set (from Visible Image) on to some white stamping card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink as I was going to use alcohol markers. I coloured the two main images in a variety of colours but didn't use the same colours in the playing card version. I also added some red alcohol markers around the edge of latter  I coloured the letters in the Queen sentiment again in red. I then cut all of the items out - leaving a white border around the words but tried not to have one around the main items. You could be somebody Caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland card -  Day 277 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I really love the stamps that Visible Image produce and I wasn't disappointed with the Alice in Wonderland set. The first card I made was this one with the Caterpillar.... How I made this card:- I first of all took a pre cut white label tag (it measures about 4"x2.5") and stencilled the brick wall (from Skull & Cross Buns) on to it using Wild Honey Tim Holtz Distress Oxide and a stamping brush. I took a piece of Hunkydory's Colour Families 8" paper pad (there are lots of colours in this range) and trimmed it to fit an A6 card leaving a white border and stuck it down using a tape pen. I then attached the label tag on top of that using a PVA glue and placed it at an angle. I stamped all of the items in the Caterpillar set from Visible Image on to some white stamping card and coloured them in using a mix of alcohol markers - you...

Create your Imagination Dragonfly panel 6" card -  Day 117 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have had this topper which I made using the Tonic Studios Fanciful flutter die from their Indulgence Frames and Inserts series and though it was about time I used it for a card! So first of all I cut the main ornate frame out in white card and the layer in a purple cardstock. I then stuck them together using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue. I had some purple shimmery paper so used that as the background for the main topper, making sure that the wings were not stuck down as they are designed to " come away " from the design. I then stuck that topper on to the large background. For the card itself, I used an " All White" 6" card from Craftwork Cards and cut the embossed part of the front off.
