Steampunk Owl mini pallet art wall hanging Hi Craft Addicts! This was really enjoyable to make as it is slightly different from the cards I usually do!  How I made this wall hanging:- The background on which the owl has been placed has been made using a "feather" die-cut as a stencil which I coloured through using "Pinks, Blues and Yellows" distress/dye based inks - Tim Holtz and Generation INX mainly... Whilst that was drying, I then cut out all of the elements - they are all dies from Tattered Lace (Owl, cogs and hats) using Silver Mirri card. I then coloured them in using "Pink, Green, and Blue" shades of alcohol markers - Spectrum Noir, Tonic Nuvo or Promarkers are great for this. I allowed these to dry overnight before handling them again as they are very slippy straight away. Chalkboard MDF pallet 2017 calendar -  Day 303 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge is slightly different in that it is an MDF pallet art wall hanging which I have made into a pretty 2017 calendar. How I made this wall hanging:- The wall hanging itself is made from the Stamps Away "Mini pallet art" kit - I used 6 of the MDF strips and glued them together - to keep the stuck together, I glued two at a time and allowed them to adhere properly. Once that was done, I painted both the front and the back using "White" Pebeo acrylic Gesso paint. I gave it a couple of coats and allowed it to dry in between them. I then added the two additional struts to the back using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue - this really does strengthen the whole thing and makes it look better too (in my opinion anyway). Using some Collall All Purpose glue I attached the "Floral" background paper which is from the "Mid Summer Mornings" 8...

Door with butterflies and ivy mini pallet art wall hearing -  Day 131 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft Addicts! So for today's challenge I have used another set of the MDF mini pallet s from Stamps Away t o make this door wall hanging. I first of all glued the 4 pallets together using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue leaving it to dry before each and then attached the smaller panels to give the effect of a door. Once it was all stuck properly, I then painted it with "Ivory" acyrlic paint from Nuvo , giving it a couple of coats making sure it was dry between each. I also painted the reverse side too. Once at was all done, I used the Tonic Studios " Beautiful Buckle " strip die to cut out a panel which I thought might look like a decorative embellishment and glued it to the "door".
