Trio of cards with a Space theme...

Image
Five, Four, Three, Two, One - we have lift off! 3 small cards with a space theme. Hi Craft Addicts! I had just been playing with the Starlights metallic paints from Imagination Crafts (you can find the full range here )  and felt that the colours I had used - White Gold, Antique Gold and a touch of Green looked like a sand scene and then had the idea that it also looked like a planet's surface - (you can find many Tutorials as to how to used these paints on You Tube). " 6" paper pad from Craftwork Cards (I am not sure if it is still available on their website).  Having spent some time thinking about how I wanted the card to look, I first of all cut a strip of the grey gingham paper ( 4cm x 13.5cm ) and then used some jute twine (doubled up) in a cross formation to the front of it (attaching it both at the back and on the front of the paper too. I then glued it using some Collall All Purpose Glue to the front of the card leaving a slight gap on the left hand side. Whilst that was drying, I then punched out 2 squares each of the...
