Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card would be great to send to a friend that you haven't seen for ages! I used my Prism punch to round the corners of a 7" x 5" white card and then scored it twice on each side to give it a decorative feature. I then stamped out the Floral Bubbles (fish and flowers) on to some white smooth cardstock and coloured it in using Be Creative Twilights watercolour paints until I was fairly happy with the result. I rounded the corners of that too and then coloured the border with a black alcohol marker. Zentangle Abstract fish Birthday card.... Hi Craft addicts! Today's card was great fun to make using a stamp and some alcohol markers.... How I made this card:- These stamps from Imala (an amalgamation between Carley Duff and Toni Darroch) are large so you do need a large stamping platform to stamp them out. I used Gina K Black amalagam ink to stamp it out on to some White stamping card. I coloured it in using a variety of alcohol markers - Crafter's Companion Tri-blends, their normal markers, trying to give some parts a 3D effect. Once I was happy with how I coloured it in, I cut it out leaving a very narrow white border around it. The Blue and White diagonal striped paper is from Paper Dienamics and comes in their set of checks, spots and stripes. I cut it to fit the front of a 5" x 7" Black pearlescent card and attached it using Pinflair's Glue-it glue. I then cut a strip of Black card (about 3/4") that was just the width of th...

Ship in a bottle - Happy birthday card   Day 48 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So for something a bit different for day 48 of my 366 day challenge . This is a card that I have made using stamps and inks.Am really quite pleased with it so here's how I made it... First of all, I got a 120mm wavy edged square card and " distressed " the edges with a blue dye based ink pad (from DoCrafts Papermania ) to take some of the whiteness away. I then used the striped fis h and Happy birthday sentiment stamps from Craftwork Cards " Take it easy " clear stamp set to decorate the corners and sides. I then used the small ship and the bottle and stamped them on to a Tattered Lace Pearl Pin dot oval die cut (in white card) using Black Onyx Memento dye ink pad . Using the same blue dye inks to match the card. I also stamped the " Happy birthday " sentiment on a smaller one at the same time and again coloured it. Once the ink wa...
