Hope you have a blast - space and aliens 6in shaped card -  Day 52 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I had coloured in the blue topper and it reminded me of a space scene so thought I would use it to make this fun card that could be suitable for anyone interested in aliens! How I made this card:- As I mentioned above, I made the circle topper by cutting a piece of stamping card using a Tattered Lace die and then a slightly larger one in black card. I then used some Altenew inks (mainly blues and blacks) to colour the smaller one - flicking some water on it and then dabbing the excess off to make it look a bit space like (I also thought about using it for underwater). I then stuck it to the black layer and used a white Gel pen to create the faux stitching. Meanwhile, I used a blue alcohol marker (Spectrum Noir BT7 old style) to create the borders on a 6" (approx) scalloped edged card. Mum with flowers Mothers Day or Birthday easel card -  day 49 of my 365 day challenge Good afternoon Craft addicts! Well, the sun has gone in and it is nearly the end of the weekend but this card should make the sun shine! Very easy to make using a stencil, inks and some chipboard letters! How I made this card:- My base card is a 148mm (approx 6") white scalloped edge card and to start with I scored the front it and folded it towards the inside to give me an easel card format. I used an blue/violet alcohol marker (Spectrum Noir TB6) to add two lines on either side (I used the scallops as a guide). I put the card aside and started to make the topper which is one part of a shaped card (14x9.5cm from Hunkydory) - I used my Cutterpillar Pro to make sure I cut it in the right place... I then placed the flower stencil (from Imagination Crafts) and inked through it in various places (first of all adding the full flower so i could then work out where the others could go)...

Enjoy today floral gatefold C6 card -  Day 48 of my 365 day challenge  Hi Craft addicts! Happy Saturday to you all! And as the sun is shining I have made this bright and cheerful floral gatefold card for day 48 of my 365 day challenge! H ow I made this card:- I wanted to make a cheerful card and so used this C6 white gatefold card and measured two panels of green cardstock (approx. 6.25x9.5cm). I then stamped the largest of the flowers in the Zendoodle RTG Flowers using Versafine Onyx Black ink on both panels. I thought that alcohol markers wouldn't work on the paper I used so decided to try Colouring Pencils instead (the ones I have are the Rembrandt Polycolor set) and used orange and yellow pencils which seemed to blend quite well. I used a green for the stem and leaves. I then edged them both (the panels that is) with a green alcohol marker (using the chisel edge) as I wanted them to stand out and then stuck them to each side of the card using a tape pen...

Love you to the moon and back Flamingos in love card   Day 22 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for my challenge is this fun Flamingos in love 7" x 5" card which I have made using Hunkydory's Flamingo Party stamp collection, some distress inks. How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the square in white stamping cardstock using a Tattered Lace die (but any one would do). I then took the two flamingos from the Flamingo Party range from For The Love of Stamps stamp collection (Hunkydory) and stamped them both using Versafine Onyx Black ink and then embossed them using a clear embossing powder. I then used 2 Zig Clean Color pens to colour them in (pink shades). I coloured the background in with both Altenew and Distress inks - using a post-it note to define where the water ended and the sky started. Hello flowers and leaves - red, white and black shaped card -  Day 20 of  my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I put this on Instagram a few days ago but didn't write an accompanying blog so thought I would do one now! How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the dandelion clock (well it looks like one) in black card and then again in white card.  I also cut out the leaves in the same colours. I had already cut out the red circle (think it was from Tattered Lace) and stuck the flowers and leaves on to it alternating the colours and glued it to the front of a flower shaped card. I then stamped the Hello sentiment on to a scalloped shaped circle in white card and stuck that on to a slightly larger one in red and then put the whole thing on to a larger circle which I had cut out in black and attached it to the front of the card using foam pads. Just for you cute elephant reveal it DL aperture card -  Day 13 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge is one that I have made using the reveal it stickers from Stamps By Me over some hand coloured balloons and elephant which I stamped using the Stamps By Me stamps. How I made this card:- I have had these stamps (and reveal it stickers) from Stamps by Me for ages and thought it was about time I used them so first of all I used some Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp them out on good quality stamping card, adding some clear embossing powder and embossed the design. I then coloured it in using various shades of Grey alcohol markers adding some pink to the inside of the elephant's ears and feet. I also coloured the hat in red and blue markers and the balloons to match his/her hat! Floral Hugs and kisses 6in scalloped edged card -  Day 11 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge is a really stunning card made using a Stamps by Me floral die and the sentiments from For the Love of Stamps collection from Hunkydory. How I made this card:- I had cut this flower out in black card from a Stamps by Me die before I realised that it only cut within the cardstock, I didn't want to waste it so just cut around it leaving a wide border. I then stuck it to the front of a 6in scalloped edged linen effect white card using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue (you could also use Pinflair's Glue-it glue) It looked really striking in black and white but felt it might be good to add a bit of colour, so I used an Orange Zig Clean Color Pen to fill in the centre of the flower and two shades of their Green pens to paint several of the stems and leaves. Love is all you need C5 linen effect card - House and tree in silhouette  D ay 6 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is one that I had started out thinking of it being a home decor piece but I then thought it would look better as a card! How I made this card:- I| used a C5 white linen effect card and used it landscape instead of portrait. I first of all used a black fineliner pen to add a border (using one of the scallops as a guide to make it equal) I had previously cut out the ornate rectangle using a Spellbinders die and whilst it was still in it, coloured it in using dark shades of green and black Distress/Pigment inks to create sky scene. It also mean that the border had some of the colours too which added some depth to the frame. I then attached it to a sheet of green paper (from the Rainbow Radiance paper pad from Hunkydory) and trimmed it to fit (allowing for a small border).
