Happy birthday to Ewe - black sheep 144mm square card -  Day 217 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card has been made only using very simple images but have come together to make a really fun but striking card... I first of all went into Brother ScanNCut's web app CANVAS and used the sheep template that comes in the Stamp add-on section (you can buy it through Create and Craft here ). to cut it out in black cardstock (It measures approximately 9cm ).  I played around with various "scenes" but eventually decided to emboss some bright green card using the Tattered Lace "Enchanted Blossom" border strip embossing folder which I then cut out randomly to make it more "hilly". I used some "Mowed Lawn" Tim Holtz Distress ink and some "green - GO1" Generation INX ink to highlight the embossed section and then glued it to the bottom of the card. Wine and Vine - blank C6 cream deckle edge card -  Day 147 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a lot simpler but still very effective I think as I have only used dies to create it. I first of all cut out one of the Sue Wilson "Eternal Rings " Striplet die in cream cardstock which toned well with the C6 cream hammered card I had for this project. These cards can be bought precut and scored from Craft Creations here I then glued the panel on to the left hand side (it is slightlly big so you can either leave it as is or trim either end to fit - given that it is a deckle edge it would probably be easier to keep it as it is). I cut two sets of the "Food and drink" dies from Trimcraft, First Edition in black card (again using Lynda Chapman's black card as it cuts so well). and decided that I would use 2 of the larger wine bottles along with the vine and 3 of the glasses. Robot in oval frame 7" x 5" white card -  Day 104 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So for today's challenge I have made this fun card that could be for a child of all ages! I have been trying to get to use some of the die cuts I have and so have used this Tattered Lace frame and a topper from the " Birthdays" book of toppers from Hunkydory as the main focal points. First of all, I hand coloured the front of the card with Tim Holtz Distress inks trying to co-ordinate them with some of the colours in the topper. I used some cut paper and brushed the sides of the card with more inks to give it a more defined frame in the darker of the blues. I also used the yellow/blues on the frame so that it wasn't so white and stuck the Hunkydory Robot topper in to the centre of it and glued it to the middle of the card. Vintage gentleman on bicycle 7" square card -  Day 88 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I really love this image from Hunkydory's "Charming Chaps" Little books (really wish they would do a pack of this and the Old Bean one) and decided to make a card that can be used for a variety of occasions.   So I chose a 7" square white card (300gsm) and used one of the Tattered Lace border dies ( serrated edge ) and cut off just over an inch of the front card. I then cut a similar but slightly smaller strip in kraft card and glued it to the edge of the card allowing a small edge of white to remain. I then glued the topper of the vintage gent on a bicycle on the precut panel of gold mirri card (that Hunkydory sells) and then placed both of them onto another panel of black cardstock leaving a very small border in each colour. Parsley, Sage , Rosemary and Thyme - herb garden wall plaque -  Day 81 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! This is only a work in progress as i wanted to test out some peel off stencils and thought that I would make a wall plaque to try them out. So, first of all I used a rectangular MDF wall plaque (this one has precut holes at the top as I wanted to be able to hang it up).  I covered it in a few coats of the NUVO Mushroom Acrylic paint - I felt I needed a few of them as the MDF seemed to be "treated" and had a smooth surface to it already.  I must admit I used my heat gun in between coats to speed things up as I wanted to do both sides. Once it was dry, I then varnished it with the new Zig Varnish marker (which is like a pen and you just spread it like a glue pen) - again giving it a couple of coats.
