  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card is another one using the Autumnal Blessings collection from Crafter's Companion along with various other products:- I decided to use the Scattered Leaves stencil from the Autumnal Blessings collection from Crafter's Companion directly on to the front of an A6 white card.  I placed it over the card and used a variety of Autumnal colours (greens, browns and yellows) - mainly Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks but also Harmony inks from Crafter's Companion. When I was happy with the effect, I rounded the corners of the card using a Hunkydory Corner punch. I used the smaller of the Oval Spellbinders Petit Picot edge die and cut it out in white card and whilst it was still in the die I coloured the inside using Nuvo Safari Green ink pad which mean that the outside edge would remain white.    Hi Craft addicts!       Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge using Dies, Distress Oxide inks and pre printed sentiments... I created the background first using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks (rainbow colours) and then once I was happy with the effect I splashed some water on to it and let it dry naturally. Once it was,  I used an inverted rectangle die from Crafter's Companion to cut it out and edged it with a Black alcohol marker. I also cut out the Lady and Gent (along with the kite and umbrella) in Lynda Chapman's black card again using the Wild Spider sticky roll to save using glue. The dies are called The Park and are part of the Tim Holtz range by Sizzix.  I placed the die cuts where I wanted them on the background, removed the backing sheet and stuck them down, this time using the unfurled umbrella - the Gent was flying the kite of course!   Hi Craft addicts!       I do like this stained glass effect lily die set from Crafter's Companion and this is one of the many cards I have made with it.   I used the main die and frame and cut them out in black card - the main outline die I had put some self adhesive sheet on some of the card as it makes it easier to place on the white card afterwards. I then coloured the stained glass flower in using alcohol markers - I really love the Spectrum Noir Triblender ones as they have the light, medium and dark shades in one pen! Once I was happy with the colouring, I added it to some Gold Mirror card and trimmed it so there was a narrow border all around it. I then placed it on a larger panel of black card (I used Lynda Chapman's Black Card as it is really great to work with. Hi Craft addicts! Today's latest handmade card is a DL card which could be for Easter or just to say hello! I really love the corner punch from Hunkydory's Prism range and so I rounded the corners of a white DL card. I then cut out a panel of white card and scored it right across it vertically to give it a wooden plank effect and again rounded the corners and glued it to the front of the card using PVA glue, having first edged with a Black Alcohol marker. I used a mix of Green and Brown ink pads (from Simon Hurley and Tim Holtz, both part of the Ranger range) and drew the pads down the card to create a background I liked. I then stamped the carrot and leaf images from the Woodland Friends range from Crafter's Companion using Gina K Obsidian Black ink all over it to add some interest to the background.
