With Love & Best Wishes... Sunken galleon on sparkly glitter background A6 card Hi Craft addicts! I bought the set of sparkly glitter inks from Spectrum Noir some time ago and hadn't used them so thought I better had and decided to make this under the sea card.... How I made this card:- I first of all cut a piece of white stamping card (either Hunkydory's Ink Me or Rare Earth are great) and taped it on to an old chopping board (far better use for me than actual cooking) using low tack tape. I then took the Spectrum Noir Sparkle inks (Blue Topaz, Aquamarine and Pink Garnet) and painted the entire card. I used a heat gun to dry it but then left it to dry naturally. Once it was totally dry, I flattened it out and trimmed it to 3" x 5" (approx) so that it would fit an A6 card. I then used the Galleon wreck, Anchor and seaweed images from the You're a Treasure stamp collection from For The Love of Stamps and stamped them on to the bottom of the pane...

Mermaids and underwater themed C6 gatefold card -  Day 198 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for my challenge (day 198 - goodness 200 is nearly here)...and I have made this Mermaids underwater themed C6 gatefold card. How I made this card:- This is a gatefold card, so I cut 2 pieces of white card slightly smaller than each of the front panels, making sure they fitted. I had bought some Creativ Bleeding Tissue which I had seen on Create and Craft and wanted to try it out, so I tore various strips (different shades of blue), wet the panels (one at a time) and placed the strips on top of them, brushed over them and then removed them to see what effect you can get from them - I also used a brush to blend the colours slightly. (I am going to do a rainbow version soon and will see what I can make of it! I then glued the panels on to the front of the card using PVA glue and left them to dry a bit. I used the Mermaid dies from the Moonstone set from ...

You're Turtley Awesome Mermaids and underwater scene C6 card - Day 93 of my 365 Day Challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a result of trying out blending colours on a textured background and I must say I was really pleased with this Under the Sea C6 card turned out. How I made this card:- I first of all cut a piece of textured paper from the Man Made collection from Craftwork Cards which measures 95x135mm approximately. I then used various blues shades of ink (Tim Holtz Distress and Altenew), blending them in to make an underwater effect - making it darker towards the bottom. The ridged texture makes it great for making it look like ripples. I added some yellow Tim Holtz Distress ink (Fossilised Amber) towards the top as I wanted to make it look as if the sun was shining through the waves and some True Graphite Altenew ink at the bottom. I used the Castle part of the Noble Knights and Naughty Dragons For The love of Masks to make it look like there was a...
