Steampunk Owl mini pallet art wall hanging

Steampunk Owl mini pallet art wall hanging Hi Craft Addicts! This was really enjoyable to make as it is slightly different from the cards I usually do!  How I made this wall hanging:- The background on which the owl has been placed has been made using a "feather" die-cut as a stencil which I coloured through using "Pinks, Blues and Yellows" distress/dye based inks - Tim Holtz and Generation INX mainly... Once that was done, I painted both the front and the back using "White" Pebeo acrylic Gesso paint. I gave it a couple of coats and allowed it to dry in between them. I then added the two additional struts to the back using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue - this really does strengthen the whole thing and makes it look better too (in my opinion anyway). Using some Collall All Purpose glue I attached the "Floral" background paper which is from the "Mid Summer Mornings" 8...
