Love abstract bubbles 7" x 5" card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a really simple one making use of self adhesive paper/card to create the main background - if you want to know more then carry on reading! How I made this card:- I cut out the Bubbles die (from a new collection by HoneyDoo) in red self adhesive paper or card (this is some left over from DoCrafts). I removed all the bits from it, as it is self adhesive some stay within the pattern and don't just fall out. I then attached the whole panel directly on to the front of a 7" x 5" white card, burnishing it down with some spare paper to make sure that all the air has been removed. I had also cut it out in black card, and randomly stuck some of the bubbles etc back into the design (I used Pinflair's Glue it Bookbinding glue). Once I was happy with it, I then used Craft Buddy's Alphabet dies (any will do) and cut out the LOVE in red card. I then stuck them on to some w...

Happy birthday C6 card with rabbits, a duck and a tree!  Day 85 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have been playing with a Tattered Lace die to make the tree along with some stamps to create this Happy Birthday card. How I made this card:- I cut out the background panel out of this checked khaki coloured paper (from Craftwork Cards) as I thought it suited this design. I used the Woodside Ferns Tattered Lace die and cut it out in green card/paper as I thought it would make a good tree! I used the Lawn Fawn Slide on Semi-circle die and cut it out in a lighter green card and trimmed it to fit the bottom of the panel and stuck it on. I then used some glue to attach the Fern die-cut to the hill allowing it to overhang the top of the panel. I had some of the rabbits and duckling left over from a previous project (these are stamps from Crafty Expressions and Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps) and stuck them around the hill. I then glued the whole panel to th...

Abstract flower Birthday aperture DL card -  Day 2 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So day 2 of my 365 day challenge and this another flower card but very different to the card from yesterday! How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the flower's backing card in red metallic and then the detail in silver metallic (from DoCrafts) and stuck the latter one on to the red.  I then glued it to the centre of the aperture, first placing it centrally (having made sure that it was on the right part of the card). I used fingerlift tape to stick the inner card flap to the rest of the card. I also cut out the Happy birthday sentiment that also comes from Creative Crafting World's Paper Boutique range, this time reversing it - ie the red for the lettering and silver for the backing layer and glued them together. I then placed it in the middle of the DL card using foam pads, Finally, I stuck the leaves on to the front of the card, first drawing a stem fr...

It's Owl Good - owl on branch 7" x 5" hand coloured card -  Day 126 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So for today's offering, I have used stamps from the " Sugar Hollow Bungalow " set from Heartfelt Creations , Distress Inks and other water based inks,Embossing powders and a scoring board to make this card. I first of all cut a 9.5cm square of white cardstock and coloured it in a variety of colours ( green, blue, orange and yellow ) using Tim Holtz Distress Inks , Generation INX water based ink pads and Altenew ink pads) - I masked various layers to give it a rainbow effect and let it dry overnight. Once it was dry, I stamped and embossed the owl on the branch from the " It's 'Owl' Good" stamp set from Heartfelt Creations using Versafine Onyx Black ink pad and Clear DoCrafts Papermania Embossing Powder and repeated the process to give a row of owls. I then stamped the sentiment " It's 'owl...
