Abstract flower Birthday aperture DL card - Day 2 of my 365 day challenge
Abstract flower Birthday aperture DL card -
Day 2 of my 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
So day 2 of my 365 day challenge and this another flower card but very different to the card from yesterday!
How I made this card:-
- I first of all cut out the flower's backing card in red metallic and then the detail in silver metallic (from DoCrafts) and stuck the latter one on to the red.
- I then glued it to the centre of the aperture, first placing it centrally (having made sure that it was on the right part of the card).
- I used fingerlift tape to stick the inner card flap to the rest of the card.
- I also cut out the Happy birthday sentiment that also comes from Creative Crafting World's Paper Boutique range, this time reversing it - ie the red for the lettering and silver for the backing layer and glued them together.
- I then placed it in the middle of the DL card using foam pads,
- Finally, I stuck the leaves on to the front of the card, first drawing a stem from the flower to the bottom. I used glue in the middle of the leaves so that they have some dimension.
And there you are - a card that can be used for any occasion - you could also make home decor with it too!
