Hello - Champagne bottles and glasses silhouette on black and white background A6 card Hi Craft addicts! Well it is Monochrome Monday so have made this black and white card using Tattered Lace dies and a stamp from Creative Expressions... How I made this card:- I cut out the Champagne Glasses and bottle die in white card (it is from Tattered Lace) - I didn't colour it in as I wanted to use it as a silhouette version. I cut a panel of black and white spotty paper (this is from a 12" Trimcraft paper pad) to fit an A6 white linen effect card - it is 5" x 3.5" approximately and stuck it on using a tape pen - I didn't use a wet glue as I find it sometimes shows through. I then attached the die-cut in the middle of it using a  PVA glue. Rose Garden floral pattern in 9" x 7" picture frame -  Day 56 of my 366 Day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I had die cut this A5 panel from Tattered Lace (Rose Garden panel) in white cardstock, but didn't want to make a card out of it and had the idea that it would make a great idea for a really lovely focal point in a picture frame. So,I stuck the die-cut on to some black cardstock and then coloured some of the flower heads in a variety of colours using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers and their Sparkle Glitter brush pen s. I left some white as I think it allows for great contrast, but did add some of the clear Sparkle pen on them. Once they were dry, I then glued the panel on to the reverse of the "carrier sheet" that came in the picture frame and placed it in making sure that it was evenly placed and closed the frame up. A5 hand decorated Pukka Pad with matching bookmark + pen and pencil -  Day 46 of my 366 Day challenge Hi Craft Addicts! So, it is now day 46 of my 366 day challenge and yes, I have stuck to it so far! This time this is an A5 Pukka Pad which I decorated with the fabulous papers from Neroli (Sparky and Marie - 1st Edition ). I first of all used a sheet of the 12" x 12" pad and covered both front and back of the pad - making sure that the pattern was the right way up using Collall All Purpose glue as it allows some "wiggle" time. Once it was dry, I then added a panel of matching paper at the bottom half of the front using red Ultra strong red liner tape on 3 sides (excluding the top edge). I would then add a border to the top edge so you can see when it starts as it does mess your head a bit as it is at the moment! I then stuck a really pretty rosette from the Magnolia Lace collection from Ultimate Crafts to the top right hand corner. F...

Hi craft addicts! I thought in this blog, I would show how I decorated two memo cube blocks  which measure 95x95x95mm and holds 850 sheets of paper.  The red one has been decorated with papers from the Raining Cats n Dogs series   from  Graphic 45  and the blue one with Crafter's Companion Sweet times card). The way that I did them varied slightly and will go through it below:- First of all you need to choose the memo block - there are so many styles and shapes out there that this is just a guide... and take out the paper (making sure you don't damage them or spread them on the floor!) Hopefully by this time you will have decided which paper/card you would like to use - 12"x12" would be the most practical as there will be enough paper to cover all "faces" of the block - though having said that I used the A3 Sweettimes pattern (now no longer available) from Crafter's Companion for the blue one! They do have these  one...

Hi Craft Addicts Here is my latest idea (not new I know but I have put my own "spin" on it and as it is National Stationery Week I thought it would be an idea to keep to that particular theme! So... I have taken a plain shorthand notebook (this is an 80 sheet) , an A7 spiral bound notebook and a pencil and have added co-ordinating papers to make a cheap but stylish gift set - great for young and old alike (also it is quite unisex so would be good for anyone! Shorthand Notebook First of all, I covered the front and back covers with background papers from the Craft Asylum " Into the Woods " 12" x 12" pack. I then have taken one of the die-cut topper with the hello banner matted on to some black cardstock (I used Creative Crafting World  option) to make it stand out from the spotty background. I then stuck it to the cover using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue (but Collall All Purpose Glue works just as well) as it gives you a bit of time to make ...
