Hi Craft addicts! Today's latest handmade card is a DL card which could be for Easter or just to say hello! I really love the corner punch from Hunkydory's Prism range and so I rounded the corners of a white DL card. I then cut out a panel of white card and scored it right across it vertically to give it a wooden plank effect and again rounded the corners and glued it to the front of the card using PVA glue, having first edged with a Black Alcohol marker. I used a mix of Green and Brown ink pads (from Simon Hurley and Tim Holtz, both part of the Ranger range) and drew the pads down the card to create a background I liked. I then stamped the carrot and leaf images from the Woodland Friends range from Crafter's Companion using Gina K Obsidian Black ink all over it to add some interest to the background. Cat on Laundry hand coloured square card -  Day 312 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today is a fun hand coloured cat themed card for day 312 of my 365 day challenge using Chameleon pens. How I made this card:- I first of all used one of the cute pre printed images from one of the Prism colouring books (they are approximately 5" square. I coloured the cat and laundry in using a variety of Chameleon pens (this is the first time I have used them and have still SO much to learn as to their use). Once I was happy with the colouring, I then used some ink daubers with the ink that was left on them to colour the floor and wall (blue and yellow). I attached this to some coppery/gold paper and trimmed it so there was a narrow border around it. I then edged the whole thing with a black alcohol marker. Happy Birthday - Meerkat on desert background 7x5in card -  Day 110 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I really enjoyed making this Birthday card - especially colouring in the background which I am pleased with how it turned out. How I made this card:- I had previously cut out a few of the Meerkats (a Tattered Lace die) using various cardstocks and thought that this Kraft card one would work well on a desert background. I therefore cut a piece of smooth white card to 110x145mm approximately and started to colour it in. I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to do this-  Tea Dye, Dried Marigold and Rusty Hinge are the main ones used - making it darker at both the top and the bottom. I also added a hint of green to the centre of the panel. Hello 6" card with hand coloured sunflowers for day 80 of my 365 day challenge  Hello Craft addicts! Today's card is a hand stamped and hand coloured Sunflower card which is ideal to say hi to someone - once again I have used Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps range. How I made this card:- I took a deckle edged 100mm square white card (from Craft Creations) and stamped the large Sunflower design in the middle of it - the flower is from the Dainty Daisies collection but I have used it as a Sunflower.  I added some clear embossing powder to the Onyx Black Versafine ink as I was going to used alcohol markers and heat set it. I then used one of the smaller flowers and stamped it around the larger one - heat setting a couple at a time with the clear embossing powder. May your birthday. be the start of a spectacular year C6 card -  Day 76 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well the snow has arrived again, so thought that this card might add some cheer to the gloom! I used embossing powders, stamps from Stamps by Me and Tim Holtz Distress inks to make it.. How I made this card:- I trimmed a piece of white stamping card (Any good quality card will do) to measure 95x140mm (to fit an C6 card). I then used Onyx Black Versafine ink to stamp the flowers from a collection by Toni Darroch's Stamp by Me collection - not sure what it is called as none of them are named but it is an A5 collection of acrylic stamps. As the ink dries quickly, I embossed each flower separately using a clear Embossing powder (Stamps Away and many other Companies produce this). Dream - roses in window hand coloured and stamped card  Day 21 of my 365 challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have made this card using a window aperture card that I have had for ages and some stamps from Stamps by Me and Zig Clean Color Pens... How I made this card:- I had had this pink hammered window aperture card for ages and it was beginning to fade a bit so thought I better use it up! I used Tim Holtz Distress inks (red, orange and yellow) and coloured the front of the card. I then took a piece of white card (any smooth stamping card will do, though I do use either Lynda Chapman's World of Paper or Hunkydory for mine) and measured it to fit the inside of the card and lightly marked where each aperture was. I then took the smaller rose stamp from the Thinking of You Stamps by Me collection and stamped it 4 times in each aperture, turning it every time so make them look slightly different. Just for you wildlife silhouette 5" window aperture card -  Day 4 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Day four of my challenge and this time I have used a window aperture card to make this Just for You card. Simple but stylish I think! How I made this card:- I have some of these Window aperture 5" white cards and needed to use them up so thought they would work with this idea I had. I cut a piece of cream hammered card to fit the inside of the card and hand coloured it using various shades of green Pigment and Distress inks (with a touch of black to darken the top of it) - I used Altenew inks primarily for this but also Tim Holtz Distress inks as well. I did want it a bit darker but made do with this for this card so let it dry. I then cut out (using my Baby Blue small die-cutting machine), the Rabbit, fawns, grass and ivy in black card so they would appear in silhouette. Rudolph on hand coloured background Christmas C6 card -  Day 332 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for my #366daychallenge is a Christmas card I made using a Tattered Lace die on a hand coloured background. How I made this card:- I cut out the "Reindeer" i n the " Blue" patterned double sided card from Kanban using a Tattered Lace die. I used a double sided adhesive sheet (I must remember to work out which side of the card I wanted it to show before doing it the next time!) which allowed me to stick the "Reindeer" down without any gungy glue going on the card. I then coloured the card with some "Bahama Blue" ink (from Memento) and "Green - G01" from Generation INX (Stamps by Me) to create a landscape. I also used a Zentangle pencil to add a skyline and some shadow. I also added the "NOEL" letters which are peel off style from DoCrafts. Finally I added a few drops of "Duck Egg...
