Flowers and buttons 7x5in white card - no message Hi Craft addicts! So today's card is one that I have made using up various die cuts and flowers I had lying around.... How I made this card:- I first of all cut out 2 corners (I am not sure which ones they are) using Green Mirror card and glued them to the opposite corners of a 7x5in card. I then cut out the lattice style square using white card and coloured the outside edge using an alcohol marker. I then coloured the inside edge with a darker one. For the flower I used some black card to create the base layer, then added 3 more layers of flowers (they are nesting dies so was able to add the pale yellow one to the pale blue one and then added the white one slightly offset to the others. I edged the card using some green Altenew ink I also cut out the "ivy" in white card and coloured it using green alcohol markers and glued them all to the front of the card. Lilac flowers (Redoute image) canvas 4" wall hanging -  Day 133 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So once again, I have used one of the really pretty lilac topper sheets from the " Les Belles Fleur " b y Redoute Card Popper pad that Creative Crafting World produced recently to make this pretty canvas wall hanging.   I also have made a card using this image which would go really well with it!   I first of all coloured the canvas using some Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud Blending inks ( Decadent Denim and Chic Aubergine) and let to settle overnight.  I then cut the topper to fit the shaped background (from a Crafter's Companion die) I had in black cardstock and glued the two together. Once I knew that the canvas was dry, I stuck the bright blue ribbon to it using a strong glue and then attached the main topper on top of it. It's Owl Good - owl on branch 7" x 5" hand coloured card -  Day 126 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So for today's offering, I have used stamps from the " Sugar Hollow Bungalow " set from Heartfelt Creations , Distress Inks and other water based inks,Embossing powders and a scoring board to make this card. I first of all cut a 9.5cm square of white cardstock and coloured it in a variety of colours ( green, blue, orange and yellow ) using Tim Holtz Distress Inks , Generation INX water based ink pads and Altenew ink pads) - I masked various layers to give it a rainbow effect and let it dry overnight. Once it was dry, I stamped and embossed the owl on the branch from the " It's 'Owl' Good" stamp set from Heartfelt Creations using Versafine Onyx Black ink pad and Clear DoCrafts Papermania Embossing Powder and repeated the process to give a row of owls. Butterflies and flourishes - 3 hearts wall hanging Happy Birthday -  Day 107 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! For today's challenge, I have made this wall hanging using a variety of media. You can get these MDF hearts from a variety of suppliers in different shapes and sizes, but the ones I have used are approximately 8cm high. Heart One This one was painted on both sides using black  Pebeo acrylic Gesso paint and left it to dry.  Once it was dry, i used an anti-static bag over the surface and then embossed the flourishes and butterflies with Onyx Black Versafine ink and gold powder I then added some gold coloured " Bling flourishes " at the top. Heart Two I then decoupaged the 2nd heart using the green checked paper from Craft Consortium (I used the pure adhesive matt glue from Tonic Studios, Forever Moments ). Just for you - girl in silhouette shaped pink card -  Day 84 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So for today's blog, I have again used the toppers and cards from the " Shadows and Silhouettes " card making kit from Kanban. I first of all decided to use one of the pink shaped cards provided in the kit which is approximately 7.5" x 5.5" and one of the larger "girl" toppers. I also used one of the embossed/patterned backing papers provided in the kit too and after gluing it to the topper cut round it following the shape. I then glued 3 flowers (2 paper and 1 resin) to the right hand side of the card and a strip of pink ribbon (with a pink button) to the left using my hot glue gun. I also used some " Bling Flourishes " from the Magnolia Lane collection from Ultimate Crafts to add a bit of sparkle to the card. Fairy and flowers Large MDF tag shaped wall hanging - Day 24 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft Addicts! So, this is another wall hanging - hadn't quite realised how many I had actually made - they are all so much fun to do! So for this one I took a large tag MDF shape and painted it a couple of times with black Pebeo Acrylic Gesso paint. Once dry, I cut out a Tonic Studios Fairy die in white and glued it using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue. You could of course either paint it with chalkboard paint or use chalkboard paper so that you can use the space for messages. After it was dry, I made up some paper flowers and butterfly (from different companies) - for my next one, I am going to try and stamp some flowers out (such as the Honey Doo or Dreamees ) and use them.
